Dear ravi5678 thank you very much for your effort sharing this application. I am sorry to let you know that
the petgen.exe still would not run. Probably I had problem with my XP machine.

No matter, if petgen.exe not running,

simply continue with the remaining part
that is;

Setup the license manager (or start it manually with lmgrd -z petcom -c license.dat), that is setup
flexlm.exe
Create a new flexlm in config services
Give service name as powerlog
browse the path for lmgrd.exe file present in PowerLogFlexlmComponents folder
browse the path for license.dat saved by u
in path to debug log file simply type error.log

then save services and go to start/stop/reread and click on start server and then reread server

then close the lmtool and copy petgen.exe to the installed powerlog directory.
drag the petgen on to powerlog.exe

and run PowerLog.

All should be well.

The main important is the creating of license file.

If from Powerlogpreinstalloutput.txt has brought the following:

Host_Name=RAVI
COMPOSITE=5BFF87625DF6

then the license file should be like this:

save this a license.dat in Powerlog installation folder

then run flexlm.

If still the problem pursuits

can provide data to test this application further it would be very helpfull. Thanks to ravi5678 for this.

Unzip powerlog 2.61a rar package.

Unzip PowerLogFlexlmComponents and crack in the unzipped file directory
Run setup.exe

Run PowerlogPreInstall in PowerLogFlexlmComponents folder. It will generate a text

file of the form :

Host_Name=Your Hostname
COMPOSITE=Your Composite ID

Copy and paste these values into the following license template, and save it as license.dat.

SERVER Host_Name ANY

VENDOR petcom
FEATURE NPowerLog petcom 2.600 permanent 99 \
HOSTID=COMPOSITE=Composite ID SIGN=0
FEATURE NPowerLogLite petcom 2.600 permanent 99 \
HOSTID=COMPOSITE=Composite ID SIGN=0
FEATURE NPowerLogS petcom 2.600 permanent 99 \
HOSTID=COMPOSITE=Composite ID SIGN=0
FEATURE NLasView petcom 2.600 permanent 99 \
HOSTID=COMPOSITE=Composite ID SIGN=0

So, if your Host_Name=EGPET and your COMPOSITE=5G2992ACC508, you should

have:

Drag the license.dat onto petgen.exe to generate the correct sign

values for SIGN=0

You should then have something like this in the license.dat

Copy and paste the license.dat into C:\Pwrlog32\Working directory.

Run Lmtools.exe in the PowerLogFlexlmComponents directory

Click on Config Services tab and give service name as powerlog
browse the path for lmgrd.exe file present in PowerLogFlexlmComponents directory
browse the path for license.dat present in C:\Pwrlog32\Working directory.
in path to debug log file simply type error.log

Click on Save Service and go to start/stop/reread tab and click on start server and then reread server

Close the lmtools and run PowerLog.

I guess I know what it is the current problem of you guys !!!!!

Please you need to check your licence ..... it needs to be generated in a "Licence.dat" file
check yr extension

dear MIROINE
I check many times extentions , it was ok , but the sign number is still 0 and i don't know how can I find
sign numbers ,
and the Petgen.exe in key file didnot work.
so the error is : "Error with Flexlm license file-NJSK_NOF please contact petcom"

you drag yr new license file to petgen..exe
otherwise ...right clic on yr Liense file ....open with ... Petgen.exe

It will generated inchalllah

but I have again error when i try to run powerlog
