Welcome to Denali!
Welcome to the Denali HAP Alaska-Yukon team. For some of you this may
be a new adventure and for those of you returning, welcome back.

The Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge & McKinley Chalet Resort have
been built around the enthusiasm surrounding Denali National Park. The
success of our lodges is only possible when our employees are living their
own adventure, are in pursuit of great service for our guests, and are
interested in the growth and development of Denali’s future. The
management team takes pride in the accomplishments of our
organization and we are excited you will be a part of this. Our main
focus this year will be Guest Satisfaction and to top our service scores
from 2015 while continuing to grow our relationships with our neighbors.
With an excellent staff sharing similar goals, we will achieve Service
Excellence for our guests and employees.
3
Payroll
HAP Alaska Yukon payroll is almost paperless. Your first paycheck will be a “live” paper check, but for later payment, you should
choose either Direct Deposit into a bank account(s) or the ADP TotalPay Card. Look for these options in your hiring documents
under Direct Deposit Authorization.
If you choose the ADP TotalPay card, remember to register and pick up your card from the HR Office as soon as possible after you
arrive.

You will not receive a full paycheck for nearly THREE WEEKS. Plan on having enough money on hand in the meantime for any
incidentals you might need.

You will be paid bi-weekly (every two weeks). Each pay period ends on a Sunday and pay day is on the Monday eight days later.

When you sign up for direct deposit or the ADP TotalPay Card , your pay will be deposited by the Friday after the pay period ends!
Keep in mind, it may take up to three weeks to receive your first paycheck, so be prepared!

iPay

Make it easy on yourself! You can view and print copies of your pay stubs and W2 forms by signing up for iPay. Go to
www.ipay.adp.com and follow the instructions. You will need:
• Pass code Princess-Cruises
• Your Social Security number
• Your home email address

The ADP TotalPay Card is a payroll funded debit card. When you have your pay deposited into this account it can be used for debit
card purchases and most places where VISA cards are accepted. If you want the ADP card, you can register and get the card at the
HR office along with instructions for activating and using the card. Go to www.moneynetwork.com for more information.

Fully Furnished Room I once read a good rule of thumb about packing for a trip:
Bed Linens Pile up the clothes you are going to take with you, divide in half,
Pillows and leave the rest at home. You’ll have laundry facilities down the
Towel/Washcloth/Hand Towel/Shower Mat hall and be in uniform much of your time so you might not need
