SURVEY The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is leading the global efforts together with its partners and stakeholders to promote transformative education to tackle the planetary crisis, through the new global framework for the period 2020-2030, entitled “Education for Sustainable Development: Towards Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals,” with its main goal of ensuring alll learners acquire knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to tackle climate change. With the objective to ensure climate action is integrated into the curriculum globally, UNESCO is developing green curriculum guidelines to help integrate climate education in schools. These guidelines are to be co-developed with young people from 12 to 25 years old. Said guidelines shall reflect the needs and demands of youth on climate change education. The target outcome is to know about the content on what the youth need to learn, their experiences, and their environment within the school, as well as the collaboration between their schools and the community on climate change education. In this regard, the Office of the Undersecretary for Administration (QUA), through the Bureau of Learner Support Services-Youth Formation Division (BLSS-YFD), hereby requests the assistance of the Regions and Divisions through the Youth Formation Coordinators to encourage young people (12 to 25 years old) to participate and answer the survey through this link https: /tinyusl,com UnescoYGCS.
