Hence, the outcome of this study will show the level of experiences of solo parents in Sta
Catalina in terms of social, economic, and psychological experiences. The findings of the
study will further reveal how personal profile of the respondents affect their lived
experiences as a solo parent. Thus, this study is proved to support the needs of single parents'
dependents.
Research into the lived experiences of single parenting will eventually be of massive
relevance. Explicitly, this study will be beneficial to the solo parents of Sta. Catalina to
increase awareness of single parent struggles and life experiences and help them cope up with
all the endeavors they will face. It will also serve as a valuable input for the school or
academe to develop a program specially designated for students who are solo parent to give
free counselling, more flexible learning setup, and educational assistance that will help them
secure future jobs. Furthermore, it will enable administrators to craft policies and systems
that will address the needs of solo parents and help them combat struggles whether financial,
spiritual or mental aspect of life. It would raise awareness so that decision-makers would take
into account the essential steps to support children from single parent homes in their
academic success. The results of this study will serve as further reference material for other
academic institutions as they develop methods to address the rising drop-off in educational
standards among adolescents from single-parent households. It will also encourage private
and government institutions to provide better work opportunities and livelihood programs for
single parents. This study will be extremely important for social work practitioners in order
to improve their programs and activities for single parents in which they will provide
minds of people to be more gentle and kind to the solo parents and be a catalyst that will
bringforth assistance and support to those solo parents. As a whole, this study will reduce
and unleash the stigma for parenting minor children without the presence of partners and will
serve as an instruments for the voices of single parent to identify their most pressing needs
for support. The single parent voices can be raised in articulating and identifying where
