A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE BARANAGAY INVESTMENT PLAN FOR HEALTH (MIPH) AND ANNUAL
OPERATION PLAN FOR CALENDAR _______ OF BARANGAY TAUG, LILA, BOHOL

WHEREAS, this body believes that Barangay Investment Plan for Health and Annual Operational Plan
must be formulated in order to achieve the following objectives, vit:

1. Ensuring that all Filipinos are healthy and have access to equitable , effective , efficient, and
quality health care;

2. The LIPH prioritizes interventions that will address health needs and health iniquities among
the underprivileged, Geographically isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs);

WHEREAS, the MIPH and AOP shall integrate all aspects of healthcare from preventive , curative to
rehabilitative health care services including the promotional aspects of health care services, that are
undertaken in both public and private sectors;

NOWTHEREFORE on motion of Hon. Gloria P. Bodiongan duly seconded by masse.

ADOPTING RA 1148OR AN ACT OF SCALING UP THE NATIONAL AN DLOCAL HEALT AND NUTRITION
PROGRAM THROUGH A STRENGHTHENING INTEGRATED STRATEGYFOR MATERNAL, NEONAL, CHILD
HEALTH AND NTRITION IN THE FIRST ONE THOUSAND (1,000) DAYS OF LIFE, APPROPRIATING FUNDS
THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES OR THE KALUSOGAN AT NUTRISYON NG MAG-NANAT ACT”

WHERES, RA 11148 aims to scale up nutrition intervention programs in the first one thousands (1,000)
days of a child’s life, and allocate resources in the sustainable manner to improve the nutritional status
and address the malnutrition or infants and young children from zero (0) to two (2) years old ,
adolescent females, pregnant, and lactating women to ensure growth and development of infants and
young children;

WHEREAS, the policy will provide a comprehensive, sustainable , multisectoral strategies and
approaches to address health and nutrition problems of new-borns, infants and young children, based
nutrition interventions, and institutionalized first 1000 days program in all development plans of both
the national and local government;
