A value chain slide is used to show the sequence of value

drivers in an industry through a process that tracks the
development of a good or service from producer to end user

Why use a value chain slide?

1. Provides unique insight on market dynamics

- Shows the different players impacting a market and provides information at
every part of the value creation process
- Locates the client in the context of the broader market forces at play
guiding its strategic decisions

2. Visualize and anticipate potential disruption

- A value chain slide can help show where there is change in the market
upstream or downstream and how it could impact all players involved
