Read the passage below and answer the questions that follow.

Lemuel Gulliver was a young boy who loved sailing. He believed he could sail across
the seas even though he was only a young boy.
On 4th May 1699, he set sail with Captain Prichard and his crew. At first, their voyage
was a success. Then, he knew there was danger waiting for him ahead. There were a lot
of rocks straight in front of them. Gulliver shouted to the captain to turn the ship starboard.
They were stranded and the captain made a difficult decision. He commanded his crew
to get on the boats and search for land. They had to do so to avoid being stuck on those
rocks forever. Six of the crew, including himself, tried to get clear of the ship and the
rocks. They did not give up and they bent over backwards to save themselves but it was
useless. The waves were too strong.
“Bang! Bang!” Gulliver knew something went wrong. He washed up on a distant
shore. He did not know what had happened to his friends. He tried to walk and he
managed to do so half a mile but he was not able to see any sign of houses or people.
He shouted to see if there was anybody there. He shouted again and again for help. He
was extremely tired and he dropped down on the grass. He fell asleep there.
When he woke up, it was daylight. He tried to rise but he was not able to get up
easily. He realised that he was tied to the ground with thick ropes. He was confused. He
did not know who did that to him and what was going on. He roared loudly in confusion.

Read the story below and answer the questions that follow.

Once there was an old tortoise named Piko. Piko lived on a grassland next to a pond.
He was never satisfied with whatever he had.
One day, Piko felt quite bored. He saw a large eagle named Kino flying gracefully in
the sky. Piko wished he could fly too. After a while, Kino came to take a rest on a rock
beside the pond. Piko asked Kino, “Hi Kino. You can fly very well. Could you please
teach me how to fly?”
Kino was astonished before saying, “You do not have wings and feathers. How
can you fly?” Piko pleaded again, “Please lend me a hand. I am sure I can fly.” Piko
asked again and again. Finally, Kino agreed.
Kino picked Piko up with his claws and they flew high in the sky. Then, Kino let go
of Piko and told him to flap his legs and fly. Piko flapped his legs as hard as he could but
he fell like a stone into the bushes.
Piko was bruised and badly shaken but luckily he had no serious injuries.
