Mycobacterium tuberculosis
Mode of Transmission
- Through the air
- Contact with droplet nuclei containing tuberculosis
- Close contact with an infected person.
Symptoms
- Coughing for three or more weeks.
- Coughing up blood or mucus.
- Chest pain or pain with breathing or coughing.
- Unintentional weight loss.
- Fever.
Preventions
- covering the mouth and nose when coughing or
sneezing
- Good ventilation
- Get the BCG vaccination

Vibrio cholera
Mode of Transmission
- Drinking water or eating food contaminated with
cholera bacteria
- the feces of an infected person
Symptoms
-Profuse watery diarrhea, sometimes described as
“rice-water stools”
- Vomiting.
- Thirst.
- Leg cramps.
- Restlessness or irritability.
Preventions
- Drink water which is boiled.
- Avoid consumption of raw foods.
- Avoid dairy products as much as possible.
- Wash fruits and vegetables before you eat.
- Washing your hands before you eat is a good way
to keep the disease away.

Clostridium tetani
Mode of Transmission
- Nails or other sharp objects
- Through infection of a cut or wound with the
spores
- from an unvaccinated mother to the newborn child
Symptoms
- Jaw cramping.
- Trouble swallowing.
- Jerking or staring (seizures)
- Headache.
- Fever and sweating.
Preventions
- Take good care of wound
- Take tetanus vaccine
- Use an early antibiotics

Bacillus Anthracis
Mode of Transmission
- Breathing in spores
- Eating food or drinking water that is contaminated
with spores
- Getting spores in a cut or scrape in the skin.
Symptoms
- Fever and chills.
- Swelling of neck or neck glands.
- Nausea and vomiting, especially bloody vomiting.
- Diarrhea or bloody diarrhea.
- Headache.
Prevention
- You can reduce your risk of anthrax by having the
anthrax vaccine .-
- The only anthrax vaccine that's approved by the
FDA is the Biothrax vaccine.Preventions

Mode of Transmission
- By the bite of an infected flea.
- Airborne droplets from human patients or
household cats with plague
Symptoms
- Fever and chills.
- Extreme weakness.
- Abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting.
- Bleeding from your mouth, nose or rectum, or
under your skin.
- Blackening and death of tissue, most commonly
your fingers, toes and nose.
Preventions
- Avoid touching dead animals
- Use insect repellent
- Treat pets for fleas regularly
