World Chess is a commercial partner of the World Chess
Federation (FIDE). An official broadcaster of major chess
events, World Chess organized the World Championship
Matches in Russia (2014), USA (2016), and UK (2018).

World Chess, in partnership with FIDE and a design studio

Pentagram, aims to rebrand chess and make it popular
among the millennials.

The items offered in this catalogue are developed and pro-

duced by World Chess and Pentagram and are designed to
make chess cool again for those who love the game and
admire great design.

A range of products includes premium sets that will last

many generations as well as inexpensive plastic sets that
have been designed to reflect the modern aesthetic of
chess.

All of our products are easy to store in an apartment, in line

with our belief that, in order to regain space in people's

 World Chess
World Chess is an exclusive partner of the International
Chess Federation (FIDE), the owner of marketing and
commercial rights to organization of the Championship
Tournament chess cycle.

The company has carried out the World Сhess Championship

Matches in New York in 2016 and in London in 2018, which

This is exactly the same set as the one used in the 2018
Carlsen — Caruana Match and three previous World Chess
Championship Matches.

Debuting at the World Championship Candidates Tourna-

ment held in London in 2013, these chessmen have become
the standard for tournament pieces. Designed by the inter-
nationally renowned Pentagram architect Daniel Weil, these
pieces are based on the proportions of classical Greek archi-
tecture and the classic Staunton design to make a set that is
both distinctive and traditional.

Official World Chess Club pieces — exactly the same as the
famous Championship set pieces but slightly smaller! It’s also
hand-made from the same high-quality material - boxwood
It’s smaller than the Championship version (87% of the full
size). Perfect for ‘40 and ‘45-cm square-size board. We rec-
ommend the ‘45 folding board to accompany this set.

Shipped in a bespoke travel pouch, it does not take much

space and can be easily stored or put into a weekend bag.
Both the set and the packaging were designed by Daniel
Weil of Pentagram for World Chess.

First official World Chess folding board. Designed by Penta-
gram in England. It’s a modern chess board developed for
design-minded players who feel that classical boards are too

Squares are 45mm wide. World Chess logos are inlaid into the
wood. The boards are produced in Spain.

The board is designed to work best with the World Chess

The World Chess Cabinet is a chess set designed as a
wooden cabinet with a removable lid, a full board,
storage space, and World Chess Championship pieces.
The cabinet has been expertly hand-crafted from
walnut and maple, key materials for chess products.

The board size is 44*44 cm and squares are 5*5 cm.

This set, which has been designed for World Chess, was

The set is made with natural leather, and magnets keep
