Syllabus in System Integration

II. Course Description: The course provides the students with the fundamental understanding of developing web-based applications and its corresponding support systems. The course
requires the use of different technologies in order to implement various web-based software applications.

Knowledge: The CTCeans actuates the gift of education as an arm to gain new knowledge and understanding.
Skills: The CTCeans possess the necessary skills to perform the tasks in the real world of work.

IV. Course Learning Outcomes:


At the conclusion of the course, it is intended the given instructional objectives will have been attained. The students can:

1. Know the fundamental of web-based application architectures and processes;


2. Learn how to test, verify and debug web-based applications.
3. Able to design and implement web application for enhancing practical knowledge.
4. Able to understand functionality of web system application.
5. Able to Design and develop interactive, client-side, server-side executable web applications.
6. Understand the purpose and uses of datawarehouse.

VI. Course Policy:

 Mind the manners. Be kind and respectful to all others in the class.
 Attendance will be checked by the instructor every meeting.
 The grace period for late comers would be 15 minutes. Beyond that, the student will be considered absent.
 Three instances of tardiness would be equivalent for one absent.
 If a student is scheduled to do an oral presentation or report but failed to come on time, the class will not wait for that student and that student will loss the
chance to report unless he/she made prior arrangement or notice regarding his/her absence or tardiness.
 Clean up after yourself. Make sure you clean up your workspace, put computer text books away, place assignments in the basket, and push
in your chair.
 Term paper, projects, research works or artifacts/portfolios must be strictly submitted as scheduled.
 Failure to submit them on the scheduled deadline would mean a failing grade and would no longer be accepted.
 A student who failed to take a periodical examination will be given a chance to take a special examination. However, after the lapse of the special
examination period and the student still failed to take the exams, he/she would be given a grade of 40.

Class Standing is 30 %( Class Recitation) + 30 %( Quizzes) + 20 %( Behavior) + 20 %( Projects)
Periodical Grade is 60% (Class Standing) + 40 %( Periodical Examination)
