TEACHING AND LEARNING STRATEGIES

PDPR Activity 1. Pupils look at the pictures on page 58 and describe what the people in them are
doing and think about the sort of problems that they have to deal with.
2. Pupils read the instructions to make sure they understand what they have to do.
3. Pupils complete Activity A by matching problems 1-5 with persons a-e.
4. Pupils check answers as a class.
5. Pupils move on to Activity B and read the instructions to check that they
understand what they have to do.
6. Pupils are encouraged to refer to the pictures on page 58 to help (builder,
cleaner, electrician, painter, plumber)
