Rules / General Guidelines :

i. The competition will be held as part of Nirma University's two decades of excellence as well as the
celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga - Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav.
ii. The event coordinator of this competition is Prof. Bhavesh Patel, Institute of Management.
iii. The group song competition will be held under two categories (1) students and (2) faculty / staff members.
iv. Champion and runner-up team will be awarded trophy in both categories. All the participants will be given
an participation certificate.
v. Only one team from each institution will be able to participate in both the categories except the Institute
of Technology. A maximum of two teams will be able to participate in both categories from the Institute of
Technology.
vi. In the student category 4 to 6 and in the faculty/staff category 3 to 6 participants can participate in a
group. Maximum 3 accompanists can be included in both groups.
vii. Maximum time allowed for the group song is 4-8 minutes which does not include setting time. The setting
time for a group shall not exceed 3 minutes.
viii. Language of the song shall be Hindi or Gujarati.
ix. Song should be based on patriotic theme. (filmy/non-filmy).
x. If orchestra / instrument / karaoke (sound track) is required for performance, it must be arrange by
participant institute/team.
xi. Judgment will be made on the qualities like swara, taal, selection of raga, composition and general
impression including dress code. The judge's decision will be final.
xii. The last date for submission of final detailed entry to the Students Welfare Board is 20-08-2022 and sound
track (in case of karaoke) to Prof. Bhavesh Patel, Institute of Management on or before 20-08-2022.
xiii. Participants must keep their Nirma University's Identity Card with them at the time of performance.
xiv. Concerned Event Coordinator and Participants have to remain present throughout the event and should
leave after prize distribution ceremony only.
xv. Performance order will be as follows:
ITNU (Team-1) > ILNU > IAPNU > IMNU > ITNU (Team-2) > IPNU > IDNU > ICNU > ISNU
