The Port and Maritime Engineering Business Unit combines 37 years of experience
in the development of world class solutions in the fields of Coastal Engineering,
Port Engineering and Shipyards, and has disseminated and promoted the
importance of Portuguese Engineering all over the world. This Business Unit’s
teams were responsible for the planning, design and supervision of several
international projects in Portugal, Mozambique, Angola, Brazil, Spain, Cape Verde,
Poland, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Nigeria, etc.

The FUTURE Group is the result of a unique combination of its history, experience
and disciplinary and geographic reach. It has the capacity to plan/ conceive the
territory on a large scale, while keeping the global vision of the complexity and
specificity of the processes of creation and transformation of cities. On the other
hand, as urban populations increase, solutions to the challenges of mobility,
infrastructure and housing are of the utmost importance. The evolution of cities

Geolab provides its clients with specialised, adjustable solutions like the
acquisition and processing of regional information based on geodetic reference
systems, using traditional topography, global positioning systems (GNSS), mobile
mapping and Laser Scanner or remote sensing, aiming at generating geographic
information in the form of metadata or cartography to be used by several survey
and project platforms, like SIG and BIM.
