1 Introduction

In order to compare absolute coverage radius before and after expansion,


DT for locking BCCH is executed. Meanwhile, the coverage comparison with
different antenna downtilt (0/2/4 degree) after expansion is implemented in this
DT.
The following DT report is generated for Model site MR085611 conducted
on the LO road from Lahore city to Patoki city.

NOTE: From Figure1 and Figure2, It is showed that coverage after expansion has not

obviously decreased comparing to that before expansion.

NOTE: From Figure 3 and Figure 4, It can be seen that coverage near site at 4 degree

downtilt turn better comparing to that at 0 degree down tilt.

According to DT data analysis, the relative coverage distance with each situation can be

seen at Table1. As we know, it is only relative approximate distance, because site

surrounding has great effect on coverage.

From the Figure 8, Figure 9, Figure10 and table 3, it is concluded that Rxqual
with each situation have not obviously varied.

4. Summary

According to the above analysis, these conclusions can be made:


1) coverage after expansion has not obviously decreased comparing to that before
expansion;

2) Coverage radius with each downtilt after expansion is almost the same and
coverage near site at 4 degree downtilt turn better comparing to that at 0 degree

downtilt. So, road site with 2 or 4 degree downtilt have better coverage than that

with 0 degree.

3) Rxqual with each situation have not obviously varied.
