Ref: Contract Agreement for Construction of Bike Water Supply and Sanitation Project

Subject: Request of Interim Payment #5

It is to be recalled that contract agreement was signed between Somali Regional State Water
Bureau and Mohammed Abdi Oumer General Contractor & Water Works Contractor for the
construction of Bike Water Supply and Sanitation Project.

Accordingly, we have been conducting the project work in accordance with the provision of
the contract agreement. Hence, this is to request your approval for Interim Payment No.5 for
the executed project works that worth Birr 15,797,281.3 (Fifteen Million Seven Hundred
Ninety-Seven Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-One and Thirty Cents with VAT). Please
find attached here with this letter the payment statement that was approved by the project
engineer.

We kindly request your good Bureau to check and approve the requested payment to
deposit the aforementioned payments to our bank account no.1000203625719
Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Sitti Branch.
