SUBJECT : Reiteration of the Presidential Directive on Police

Personnel Involved in Illegal Gambling Activities

DATE : January 26, 2022

1. Reference: Memorandum from DDPRM dated January 24, 2022 with above
subject.

2. This pertains to the guidance of the CPNP given in the recently held video
conference conducted to address the issues and concerns raised in TV program of
PRRD “Talk to the People” aired on January 17, 2022 and published by the
Philippine Daily Inquirer entitled, “Duterte praises military but slams police for poor
discipline, corruption” dated January 18, 2022.

3. In this regard, you are directed to reiterate to your personnel on your

respective offices/units the prohibition against participation and engagement in all
forms of gambling such as casinos, e-sabong, and other illegal activities.

4. Likewise, continue to immediately undertake summary dismissal

proceedings against your personnel involved in the aforementioned activities, subject
to relevant laws, rules and regulations.

5. Further, submit report to this office (Attn: DLOS) every last Friday of the
month starting January 2022 for consolidation, following the attached format.
