Introduction:

Thesis Statement: Keeping the current economic, social, political and law and order situation in
mind, Pakistan cannot afford to create more provinces at this time. Though the opponents hold a
different opinion, they seem to be negligent of the ground realities.

P. Graph 1. Demand of provinces has always been based on ethnic, linguistic and political
