About Us
MSEL is a leading manufacturers of heavy
engineering and precision equipment for all core
industries such as Mining , Cement , Steel , Power ,
Nonferrous , Ports , Defense and Oil & Gas. MSEL
has been serving Indian and international
customers from 4 large factories in Kumardhubi,
Asansol , Vadodara & Bangalore for 6 decades .
The product range includes large mining
machines like Bucket wheel excavators, Spreaders,
shiftable conveyors, stock yard equipment , port
cranes , Cement grinding mills, rotary kilns, steel
plant equipment , Chemical reactors , Crushers ,
Screens , Mineral beneficiation equipment etc.

History McNally Bharat Engineering Co. Ltd.
1961 incorporated in 1961 as a joint venture between McNally
Pittsburgh, USA and Bird & Co., United Kingdom,
commenced business as McNally Bird Engineering Co. Ltd.
in a serene township at Kumardhubi (near Dhanbad),
Jharkhand

In 1972, the name was changed to McNally Bharat

1972 Engineering Company Ltd

In 1980, the Williamson Magor group took managing

1982 control of MBE

In 2008 MBE acquired Baroda based Sayaji Iron & Engineering

2008 Co Ltd and merged with the PRODUCT DIVISION to create a
new entity named as, “McNally Sayaji Engineering
Limited”

Over the years, other activities were added to MBE’s

Today portfolio. Today MBE has built over 300 turnkey plants in the
country and supplied thousands of equipment

• MBE has a fully owned subsidiary company –
EWB Kornyezetvedelmi Kft., Hungary, which is
one of the leading European Companies in ash
handling and pneumatic conveying systems &
has a strong presence in Europe & South – East
Asia.
• MBE acquired Coal and Minerals Technology
(CMT) Division of KHD Humboldt Wedag in 2009
• The CMT Division operates in Europe, North &
South America, Russia, China and South Africa
• MBE Cologne Engg GmbH has a manufacturing
unit in Cologne, Germany.
