Natural Rubber
Natural rubber is a natural polymer of organic compound isoprene obtained from the
bark of tropical and subtropical trees. The rubber came from white fluid obtained
from trees called latex. According to the image, People use a knife to peel the bark
after that the latex came out from the tree and fills the cup.
History of Rubber
The first use of rubber was by the indigenous cultures of Mesoamerica. They made
the rubber from the natural latex of the Hevea tree. They use this rubber to make
balls for the Mesoamerican ballgame. Later rubber was used by the Maya and Aztec
cultures to make a container and to make textiles waterproof by impregnating them
with latex sap.
