ANALYSIS
The above Pie chart represents the different type of laptops launched by each company.
From the above chart, it can be inferred that the dell launched maximum laptop
varieties i.e. 26% of the total laptop launched in fiscal year,c followed by ASUS which
launched 26% of the total laptops in different varients and LG launched only 1% of the
total laptops launched this year.

ANALYSIS
The above bar graph represents the different brands of Laptops on X – axis, price
charged on the Y -axis and the bars in the graph show the maximum prices of each
laptop brands. From the above graph it can be inferred that ASUS launched the costliest
laptop of Rs. 3,01,990 this financial year and the maximum price offered by Infinix was
lowest as compare to other brands. some industry leaders in computer manufacturing
make it a selling point to offer computers in sleek styling and in a variety of colors. They
may also offer unusual or contemporary system design. Though this is less important to
many consumers, for those who do value “looks,” this type of system may be well worth
the extra cost.

ANALYSIS
From the above histogram, it can be observed that in the given year, the laptops,
which weighing 1.75 KGs have been the best seller, followed by the laptops
weighing 1.5 Kgs, followed by laptops weighing 2 Kgs, and so on…
We can see that very few laptops are preffered which are 3 KG or more.

ANALYSIS
A computer with more memory often performs better for a longer time than a computer with less
memory. In addition, hard drive space is also crucial, and the size of the hard drive usually affects
pricing. Many consumers may also look for digital video drivers and other types of recording devices
that may affect the laptop computer prices.
The above scatterplot represents the RAMs offered by laptops on the y-axis and the SSDs offered with
them on y-axis. There is a positive correlation between SSD and RAM. From the above chart, it can be
deduced that when the customer will demand higher RAMs the SSD provided with that product will
also be higher.

PROBABILITY DISTRIBUTIONS
MEAN 1.8

VARIANCE 0.16

STANDARD DEVIATION 0.396

MEAN
The mean is the average of the data, which is the sum of all the observations divided by
the number of observations.
Here, in this data, we took the weight of the laptops manufactured as our observation to
know the average weight preferred to manufacture by companies. So, the mean value is
1.8, which means on average, out of 224 laptops manufactured this year, the average
weight is 1.8.

VARIANCE
A variance is the average of the squared differences from the mean or the variance
measures how to spread out the data about their mean. The variance is equal to the
standard deviation squared.
Here in our data variance of weight i.e., 0.16 is a measure of how far a set of data are
dispersed out from its mean which is 1.8. Hence, variance is far by 1.64 (1.8-0.16)
numbers from the mean and from every other number in the set.

STANDARD DEVIATION
Standard deviation measures how data is dispersed relative to its mean and is
calculated as the square root of its variance. The further the data points are, the higher
the deviation. Closer data points mean a lower deviation.
Here in our data, the standard deviation value came out at 0.396 which is close to the
mean as well as variance which signifies there is a lower deviation in the data set.
CONCLUSION

Several different factors can affect laptop computer prices. These factors include the brand of
computer and the number of options and add-ons included in the computer package. In
addition, the amount of memory and the speed of the processor can also affect pricing.
Though less common, some consumers spend additional money to purchase a computer based
on the overall “look” and design of the system.

From the above charts, the visuals of the dataset showed laptop details of 7 brands that more
than 125 laptops were launched in this financial year with different specification and prices,
through these graphs we can observe out of 125 laptops launched DELL launched maximum
laptop varieties i.e. 26%, followed by ASUS which launched 26% of the total laptops in
different specifications but when it comes to price the ASUS launched he costliest laptop in
this year which was 3,01,990 followed by ACER which launched the laptop at 1,44,990. The
another factor which affects sales is weight the best seller, in laptops were weighing 1.5
Kgs,as the preferred weight by the customers was 1.5 kg
the another important specification when it comes to choosing laptops is RAM and SSD as we
will move the higher ram the SSD provided will also increase with that.
