5.a) There are certain advantages of studying in a foreign
country. Firstly, students can experience a different culture
from their own. For instance, they can learn the history,
costumes and language. Secondly, they can become more
open and tolerant, particularly accepting that people are
different and have different customs, beliefs and languages.
Moreover, students have the opportunity of making new friends
of different nationalities therefore becoming international and
cosmopolitan.
Nonetheless, studying in a foreign country has its
disadvantages. To begin with, students will miss his family and
friends. As a result, they will spend a lot of time on their own,
without emotional support from family. A further disadvantage is

Essay 1
With the pass of time, technology has shown a high
developing degree. As a matter of fact, these days almost
everybody has some kind of machine in use, such as
computers, cars or even washing machines. Regardless of the
fact that machinery was think up to benefit mankind, it has also
brought along many flaws to match.
To begin with, the use of technological equipment
originates a disruption between the person using it and the
environment where he or she lives. For instance, morals,
values and family traditions like eating with your family at the
dining table have been affected to adapt to this technological
age. Moreover, the excessive use of technology, as leaving
their laptops on for long periods of time, cause damages in our
environment. In addition, this is bringing our society ever closer
to Global Warning and we most stop.

Essay 2
Medical doctors are known to be health professionals whose
roles are great importance in the society. They are usually
chosen depending on how serious they are and their
knowledge in the medical field, mainly those with many years of
experience.
Regardless of the fact that the level of education of a medical
doctor is of great importance for them to be regarded as a good
medical professional, that is not the only criterion to be taken
into account. The integrity and character of a health care
provider takes a truly importance in society since they can
become models for teens who want to become doctors in the
future and these qualities can influence them positively or
negatively.
Doctors are known, in several countries where the health
system is corrupt, to lack the qualities mentioned before. As a
result, they are capable of walking away from a dying patient
who do not have enough money to pay for the services. Thus,
the oath of putting patients first before anything is broken.
Taking everything into account, to my way of thinking, a well-
educated doctor lacking a good character and integrity, who
choses money over saving people, is no better for his
knowledge, as it can cause a many casualties.

One point of view in favor of travelling by boat is that it is

more comfortable, as it has more space to move around, unlike
other ways of travelling. For instance, you can go for a walk,
eat in a restaurant or go shopping. Moreover, boats are
cheaper than other forms of travel, for example a boat ticket
cost less than a plane ticket. Finally, boats are a safer
alternative than cars and planes, since there are fewer
accidents at sea than in the air or on the roads.
Nevertheless, one argument against travelling by boat is
that it usually takes longer than other forms of travel. For this
reason, it can be more tiring. Another additional disadvantage
is that the journey can be very unpleasant and even frightening
if the weather is bad or the sea is rough.
