ACKNOWLEGEMENT
A project is a golden opportunity for learning and self-
development. We consider ourselves fortunate and privileged to
have such wonderful mentors guide us through the journey for
the completion of the project.
Our sincere thanks to Mr. , Principal, C.S.H.P. MEMORIAL PUBLIC
SCHOOL, Ghaziabad, who despite being extraordinarily busy took
time out to address us and guide us.
Our heartfelt gratitude to our Teacher Guide, Mrs. Pooja Sharma,
for her patience and belief in us. Her exemplary investment in the
complete process, constant encouragement and insightful
feedback helped us achieve our objective/s.
We would also like to thank The Principal and faculty of C.S.H.P.
MEMORIAL PUBLIC SCHOOL, Ghaziabad, for allowing us to
conduct our research and amidst them.
Lastly, we would like to thank our family members whose support
and help us to complete the project within the deadline.

OBJECTIVE
The basic objective of AI (also called heuristic programming, machine intelligence,
or the simulation of cognitive behavior) is to enable computers to perform such
intellectual tasks as decision making, problem solving, perception, understanding
human communication (in any language, and translate among them).
INTRODUCTION
Artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science that aims to create
intelligent machines. It has become an essential part of the technology
industry. Research associated with artificial intelligence is highly technical
and specialized.
Computers became faster, cheaper, and more accessible between 1957 and
1974. Machine learning algorithms improved and, in 1970, one of the
hosts of DSPRAI told Life Magazine that there would be a machine with
the general intelligence of an average human being in three to eight years.
Despite their success, computers’ inability to efficiently store or quickly
process information created obstacles in the pursuit of artificial
intelligence for the next ten years.
AI was revived in the 1980’s with the expansion of the algorithmic toolkit
and more dedicated funds. John Hopfield and David Rumelhart introduced
“deep learning” techniques that allowed computers to learn through
experience. Edward Feigen Baum introduced “expert systems” that
mimicked human decision-making. In 1997, reigning chess World
Champion and Grandmaster Gary Kasparov was defeated by IBM’s Deep
Blue, a chess-playing computer program. The same year, speech
recognition software developed by Dragon Systems was implemented on
Windows.
In 2016, Google’s AlphaGo program beat Go Master Lee Se-dol and in
2017, Libratus, a poker-playing supercomputer beat the best human
players.
Types of Artificial Intelligence (AI):-
Artificial intelligence is classified into two main categories: AI that’s
based on functionality and AI that’s based on capabilities.
Based on Functionality:-
Reactive Machine – This AI has no memory power and does not have the
ability to learn from past actions. IBM’s Deep Blue is in this category.
Limited Theory – With the addition of memory, this AI uses past
information to make better decisions. Common applications like GPS
location apps fall into this category.
Theory of Mind – This AI is still being developed, with the goal of its
having a very deep understanding of human minds.
Self-Aware AI – This AI, which could understand and evoke human
emotions as well as have its own, is still only hypothetical.
Based on Capabilities:-
This made us realise to start a research work heading towards this. For
this we start discussing about AI’s and try to connect ideas on internet
about this.
The purpose of our interview is to find what students of our age are
thinking about AI or upcoming huge enhancements in Artificial
Intelligence. Is there is anyone of our age who had ideas and thinking
about updates in AI’s system or new type of AI. And Also to find out how
their parents are supporting them to study about robotics, artificial
intelligence, computer science etc.
Through this Interview we came to a conclusion that parents, teachers,
students all are trying to cope up with Artificial Intelligence.
Whole world is now working on this AI and trying hard to make it more
innovative and better. Since 1950 this AI is developing and Now It’s 2022
here we have such great works related to this like Google Assistant, Alexa
(By Amazon), Siri (By Apple). This has also been included in Robotics like
Image classification, Speech Recognition, etc.
