The table shows the number of qualifications for each gender. The modal of qualifications that
females achieve is School, which is 35, followed by Vocational which account for 33
qualifications. In comparision, the difference occurs when the majority of men have obtained
Vocational is 40, making it become the modal qualification for boys and the number of School
qualification that they have is identical at 30. Degree is the least qualifications among the grand
total for both males and females, which is 14 and 9, respectively.

The above bar chart indicates the ethnicity distribution. With 159 people, European are the most
ubiquitous ethnicity, far exceeding Maori whose figure is identical at 20. Pacific and other
ethnicity account for the lowest number of people, only 10 and 11, respectively.

3)

The boxplot indicates the level of income by qualifications. As we can interprete from the diagram,
the higher qualification people achieve, the more money they earn. For instance, people who gain
Degree qualification have the highest incom level compare to others, which the average level of
income is $1011.95. The second-highest level of income is earned by group of people who have
Vocational qualification, at the average amount of $712.137. There is a special element in the
income level of group who gain School qualification and who do not have any degree. The highest
amount of money of people who have not had any qualifications is smaller than that of people who
finish School, by $137. However, the average level of income of people who finish School is still
higher than that of people who did not ($408.6429 > $394.2308).

4)

AGE
Count 200
Mean 30.3050
Standard deviation 8.5521
35th percentile 27
Because the number of mean is larger than the 35th percentile (30.3050 > 27) so the majority of
data will distribute nearer to the right of the 35th percentile, which is 27. As a result, we can analyse
that the majority of ages is near 27.

5)

Female
Mean 34.3402
Standard deviation 18.3887
Male
Mean 34.3981
Standard deviation 16.2253

As we can interprete from the table and the boxplot diagram, the mean of female (34.3402) and
male (34.3981) are both smaller than the median of the boxplot (40). Together with the high
standard deviation (16.2253), we can get to the conclusion that the mean and standard deviation
do not agree with the information shown by the boxplot.
6)

The histogram is not bimodal because when the histogram is bimodal, it must have 2 peaks which
the above diagram do not have.
