an Elder's haven (child of ramessu, Amsi) was burned down during the day

the people who saw the incedent claimed the men who did it had scales and eyes black as the deepth of
the ocean

the edlers of the city believe it is the setites, but astaroth claims it is the baali and the angelis alteir have
risen again (though many dismiss this)

lots of attention is on the lasombra who are being blamed as well as the setites.

its actually the baali and the horned society trying to recover fragments of the yellow king.

The baali are seeking fragments of a tomb that have made it into the city. They are being careless,
because if they manage to recover the fragments they can finally perform the ritual that will summon
the yellow king. They have been agressively going after anyone with the fragments, sending [yellow
cultist]s to gather the fragments at all costs and burning down the havens of anyone they take the
fragments from to “limit the retalliation” from them.
The Baali have miscalculated the levels of animosity between the vampires in the city and have
discovered that the clans of the city are working more closely than they had anticipated, forcing them to
make cuts to plans as their timetables for success grow shorter by the night.
The Baali need to recover 3 more fragments to complete their ritual. They know of one other (and got
sloppy leaving clues as to its whereabouts), but the last two pieces are unknown to them, save that they
are in the city (mystic scrying on them reveals they are in the city but not where).
The last two fragments are in the collection of the Banu Haqim of [The Lost Tribe].
The [Curator of Relics] has a secret library where he has been collecting fragments of ancient texts for
the black hand, among these texts are a nearly complete copy of the book of nod, as well as the “three
paths through the garden” and a few fragments of stone tablets bearing the ancient epic describing
Marduk slaying Tiamat. It is with these clay fragments the fragments lay. With these two fragments one
could complete the second act of the ritual and actually summon forth the Yellow Emperor.

The Curator has no idea what his collection contains, but does know it has some trace of occult power
about it. He has actually been researching pieces within the collection and has shared his findings with
some of the scholars of the city, including [Vitalis]. The curator will confide in Vitalis that Amsi had
one of the fragments and was studying it. She had been careless and allowed the location of the
fragment slip when she brought a group of the Ashirra to her haven to assist her in her studies. Among
those who were there was one of Althea's brood and [Fatima Ibn Aeonian]. He mentions them because
they both took a special interest in the pieces that bordered on mainia. He thought nothing of it at the
time, though now he begins to wonder.

Scene: investigating Althea

Althea is pissed at the turn of events. Many believe it was because of the loss of one of her very few
“friends” in the city, but the reality is much darker. She is pissed that her childer failed to bring her all
of the remaining pieces of the ritual, and neglected to mention they came from the collection of the
curator of relics and not from Amsi. Questioning Amsi will be difficult as she will only allow so much
before she attempts to “humble” the person questioning her with her presence.
Althea is aware of the cultists and often allows her distaste of them to show through. Anyone
questioning her is at a -2 difficulty to empathy rolls to see that she apparently has already formed a
strong negative opinion about these cultists. It is odd though that she seems to be angrier about them
failing than killing her friend.
If Althea believes the players are going to implicate her she will call in an attack by the cult. In this
