School Rules and Regulations

WELCOME TO GRADE 6- RIGEL

1. When coming to school, the following health protocols
Shall be observed:
 Submit yourself for temperature check.
 When the temperature of the child is below 37 he/she will go straight to the classroom of
his/ her grade level.
 Always wear your face mask.
2. When the temperature of the child is above 37
 He/she will be placed in the holding room to rest for a while.
 If his/her temperature is already below 37, the child will immediately go to his/her
designated classroom.
 Parent/Guardian who accompany their children to school shall go home.
Parents/Guardians are not allowed to stay in the campus.
3. What will the children bring to school
alcohol, face mask, snacks, lunch, face towel, toothbrush, tooth paste school supplies a water
container which can be refilled.
For grade six girls they must bring extra sanitary napkins.
 Recess time and lunch of children will be supervised.
 Be sure to give your children money for snacks/lunch if you have not prepared any for
them.
There will be designated canteen personnel to go room to room to sell snacks/lunch.

4. During dismissal in the afternoon

 Parents/ Guardians should wait for their children in the designated exit area.
 Their should be no substitute parent /guardian when bringing and fetching your children.
 When not possible inform the adviser of your children through letter, text or chat about
the person who will fetch your child.
 Give your contact number to your adviser.
 When you need to bring something to your child while he/she in school, wrap whatever
it is and write the name of your child on the wrapper and politely request the guard
on duty to bring it to your child.
5. When you need to talk to the teacher
 Ask for an appointment from the teacher through the guard. He will give you the
appointment slip with the time, date of your appointment after informing the teacher
concerned. You can also ask permission from the teacher through text, call or chat.
 If permission to meet the teacher was done through chat/text the teacher must inform
the guard so that the parent will be allowed to get inside the campus.
6. When passing the corridors or using the stairs always remember to:
 maintain silence
 keep right
 observe physical distancing
 be courteous to teachers and personnel you meet
7. Dress code
 No spaghetti straps, shorts, mini skirts for women.
 No sando for men

8. When communicating to your teachers through cell phones

 No calls nor texts after 10 o’clock in the evening.
 No advertisements about online worship and online selling
  Be courteous
9. Wearing of uniforms for your children
 School uniform is not required, however if your child has already one then he/she
can wear it in in school.
 If you could afford to buy your child a school uniform then do so. This will save you
from expenses of buying clothes.
 It will also give ease to school personnel to identify our leaners.
