The IT industry, in the 1990s, has just started to establish itself as an

indispensable business tool of the future, particularly in this region
and more so in our country, The Kingdom of Bahrain and thus in
1997 National Institute of Technology saw its birth. We had a clear
vision, to address the enormous possibilities and the opportunities in
this revolutionizing young industry and suitably create qualified IT

With Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030 being unveiled, NIT took upon
itself the responsibility of supporting that vision by having the leading IT
