4.4 - The Me Team

In an article called “Teamwork makes the dream work? I’m not so sure” written by blogger Bev
Shannon, she states that she would prefer to work alone at home rather than working in an
office with other people. Having different personalities like inward, sweet-talker, and bossy
people in a group complicates working together in that group. When each team member is
unable to manage their schedule and allocate enough time for team meetings, the team will fail
to achieve its goals and succeed. A person without previous teamwork experience will struggle
to build trust and work with others. Working individually has its ups and downs; for example, it
would be challenging to fix a computer or to check if a certain plan is great without the help of
someone. Teamwork can be successful and rewarding, provided that each team member knows
its downside and what may go wrong.
