CLASS TOPIC: NAME AND OCCUPATIONS

1. To start our class, the first step is to say hello, because it will help
students feel in a comfortable classroom environment and that the
teacher is interested in knowing how their students are doing.
For example, good morning guys, how about your weekend? how
are they? do you feel happy today?

performs a warm-up period with a motivational phrase, for

example; the expert was once a novice.

2. Then the teacher explains what the class will be about, and gives a
small introduction.
For example: Occupations are the tasks of work activity.

3. In this step the activation of the class begins, the teacher asks that the
students close books and start working with the mind and everything
they remember after they have already heard the introduction of the
class.
the teacher can make use of images that are related to the class and can
ask questions to his students. for example: Mary, what does your mom
do?
4. The teacher must present or work her class with some techniques.
For example:

 At the end of the class, students probably do not remember some

occupations, so the teacher can dramatize the action of the occupation.
For example: if the teacher asks about an occupation and the students
do not remember she can dramatize this occupation.

 Visual support.
 Oral exercises and tasks (ask dynamic questions and talk about a regular
student topic).
 Stress-free and supportive environment (it is important that this class
takes place in a clean place, free of stress, with lots of light and fresh, so
students learn better).
 For example, I could take the students to a place surrounded by trees, it
would be very beautiful.

5. Finally, the teacher makes an evaluation to the whole class, it can be in

the form of dialogue, in pairs, go out to the blackboard, a written test,
among others.
