Object of the game 4 4

The object of the game is to have the fewest number of
points after playing 11 rounds. Each round has a
5 5
progressive increase in the number of cards dealt out.
The first round has 3 cards. The second has 4 cards, and
6 6
so on up to 13 cards. Upon each deal the number of
cards dealt also indicates the wild card. For example, on
7 7
the first hand, the three is considered wild because three
cards were dealt to each player. This card is wild, in 8 8
addition to the cards already designated as wild. This
means that 4’s are wild on the next round and so on. 9 9
To begin play 10 10
To begin play the cards are shuffled and each player is
dealt the appropriate number of cards and the remaining
11 Jack
cards are placed face down in the middle of the table as
a draw pile with the top card flipped over next to it for a
12 Queen
discard pile.
13 King
Each player may look at their cards and the player to the
left of the dealer begins play by either drawing a card
from the pile or the top card from the discard pile. He
must discard at the end of his turn. Each player attempts
to create a hand that is completely comprised of "runs" or
players
"sets" with one card left over to discard. cards wild
A “run” is 3 or more cards that are in consecutive order dealt card
and must be in the same suit (hearts, diamonds, etc.). A
“set” is a minimum of 3 cards that are the same number
or letter, suits do not apply with this one. Within these
3 3
runs or sets any number of cards can be wild cards and
take the place of any card. For example you may have
4 4
King, wild, wild. When a player succeeds in creating such
a hand, he lays it out on the table. Every player then has
5 5
one more turn to make the best hand he or she can, then
laying down all sets and runs they currently have. Their 6 6
remaining cards are counted up and and written on the
score sheet. 7 7
Points for 5-Crowns 8 8
Points are scored according to face value of the cards,
Jacks = 11, Queen = 12, King = 13. Wild cards are equal
9 9
to 20 points (including the numbered wild card
designated for that turn.) 10 10
Points for 3 to 13 11 Jack
