Project 1: Localization (Level 3 Automated Driving – IDC5
Intelligent Drive Control):
• Technically lead team of five Engineers in developing High
Definition (HERE) Maps Processing Software - Grid Map
Generator.
• Grid Map is supposed to be continually added and maintained for the
given position of the car.
• Developed the Map Processing Software from concept to production
ready. Software development, Verification-Validation and periodic
in-vehicle testing.
• Developed prototype for understanding of the HD Map data. HD
Maps in protobuf format was read and algorithms developed to meet
the localization requirement of Grid Map creation.
• For production software HD Map data was streamed with ADASIS
v3 protocol. Developed software that read and processed Road
Geometry, Lane model, Lane connectivity data to produce grid
map for given road.
• Developed and implemented concept for large scale testing of the
grid map generator - Implemented software that validated the output
thereby enabling continuous testing with HD Maps of different road
scenarios / Highways.
• Performed Functional safety analysis of the developed Grid map
generator - Defined safety goals, Fault tree analysis etc.
• Understanding of algorithms to realize localization of the vehicle on
the map. Algorithm based on probabilistic model, state space
estimation and static signal processing.
Project 2: Functional Evaluation
• Development of Test Framework to evaluate deep learning models
based perception algorithms. Implementation of KPI and evaluation
metrics
for deep learning models.
Project 3: Test Automation Framework development for HIL
(Hardware in loop) testing
• Developed automation setup for release testing of Fault strategies in
HIL environment
• Worked on automation framework for generating HIL Testing scripts
for the IDC5 HIL Testing.
• Proposed and implemented PoC for Continuous Integration
testing of IDC6 release software. The proposed tool chain
generates vTestStudio compatible files from documented Tests and
Canoe configuration is invoked to execute the generated
vTestStudio tests.
