INTRODUCTION
OF THE IOT
INDUSTRY.
INDUSTRIAL OVERVIEW
Industrial IoT, short for the Industrial Internet of Things, originally described the Internet of
Things (IoT) as it is used across several industries, such as manufacturing (Industry 4.0),
logistics, oil and gas, transportation, energy/utilities, mining and metals, aviation and other
industrial sectors and the use cases which are typical to these industries.
The Industrial IoT covers many use cases, industries and applications : Initially focusing on the
optimization of operational efficiency and rationalization/automation/maintenance, with an
important role for the convergence of IT and OT, the Industrial Internet of Things opens plenty
of opportunities in automation, optimization, intelligent manufacturing and smart industry,
asset performance management, maintenance, industrial control, moving towards an on
demand service model, new ways of servicing customers and the creation of new revenue
models, the more mature goal of industrial digital transformation.

CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS THE GDP
IOT Technology in India is an industry consisting of two major usage : Consumer Usage and
Industrial Usage. The sector has increased its contribution to India's GDP from 1.2% in 1998
to 7.7% in 2017.
According to NASSCOM, the sector aggregated revenues of US$180 billion in 2019, with
export revenue standing at US$99 billion and domestic revenue at US$48 billion, growing by
over 13%.
As per NASSCOM report on IoT Landscape, India will be a front runner in IoT adoption in
Asia Pacific (APAC). The IoT market size in India is expected to grow at rate of 62% CAGR
and reach US$9 billion by 2020. The number of IoT connections are expected to grow at a
CAGR of 137%, increasing from US$60 million in 2016 to US$1.9 billion in 2020.
This increase in IoT market revenue share will be distributed across different industry sectors
like utilities, manufacturing, transport and logistics, automotive, healthcare and so on.
5
GROWTH OF THE COMPANY
At the end of 2019 there were 7.6 billion active IoT devices. According to new research
published by Transforma Insights, this total will grow to 24.1 billion in 2030, a compound
annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11%.
Short range technologies, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Zigbee, will dominate connections,
accounting for 72% in 2030, largely unchanged compared to the 74% it accounts for today.
Public networks, which are dominated by cellular networks, will grow from 1.2 billion
connections to 4.7 billion in 2030, growing market share from 16% to 20%. Private networks
account for the balance of connections, 10% in 2019 and 8% in 2030.
The consumer sector will dominate in terms of connected devices, accounting for 65% of all
connections, up from 62% in 2019. Of the enterprise segment in 2030, 34% of devices will be
accounted for by ‘cross-vertical’ use cases such as generic track-and-trace, office equipment
and fleet vehicles, 31% by utilities, most prominently smart meters, 5% by transport and
logistics, 4% by government, 4% for agriculture, and 3% each for financial services and
retail/wholesale.
6
TRENDS OF THE INDUSTRY
The evolution of the IoT has already been around for a while. After the introduction of new
metrics for a post-ISA era, Internet-of-Things technologies are successfully re-engineering
businesses and modifying optimal ways of running them. These technologies affect nearly all
the existing industries: healthcare, insurance, smart buildings, manufacturing, transportation &
logistics, retailing, and more.
Even though some general IoT current trends are quite visible across all the industries, the
industry-specific predictions should not be overlooked. Be it the 2020 industrial IoT trends like
the ones peculiar to manufacturing, or those that are attributed to the healthcare or
transportation industries.
The Internet of Things is very well fit for the needs of the healthcare industry. The most in-demand areas
of IoT technology adoption are:
Remote patient monitoring with the help of wearable devices whose built-in sensors
track patients’ conditions.
Optimization of day-to-day operations in a hospital through medical equipment
management and customer service facilitation.
Disease prevention and monitoring, which is enabled by mobile apps paired with IoT-
based devices.
Heavy industries like manufacturing are concerned with complex systems and processes management
within factories and outside them. Industrial Internet of Things platforms can not only uncover workflow
inefficiencies but also reduce them. These are the key improvements that IIoT platforms for
manufacturing introduce:
Production maintenance
Inventory management
Industrial big daa analytics
7
PACKAGING IN THE INDUSTRY
A 2017 study by Bsquare found that 77% of manufacturers currently have an IIoT solution in
place. 98% of those rate their solutions between “very” and “somewhat” important to
operations.
Most companies have connected their CNC machines and manufacturing systems, though there
are countless other opportunities for streamlining operations through the IoT and packaging —
in addition to increasing customer engagement and loyalty.
Taking the IoT a step further is smart packaging (also referred to as intelligent packaging) —
material with interconnectedness embedded directly. That way, the packaging itself shares
information.
One key feature of smart packaging is that it allows consumers to engage with it and access
data like beauty tutorials, food preparation videos, or other information that helps them fully
utilize the product .
Whether embedded with sensors through QR codes, virtual reality or augmented reality
options, there are numerous ways for the IoT and packaging to work together.
The key to success is both adding value for consumers and maximizing data collection in order
to optimize operations and boost sales and efficiency.

14
TRANSFORMATION PROCESS OFMAT-X
15
16
TRANS FORMATION PROCESS OF MAT–X
Raw materials are key building blocks in the production of the MAT series it simply could not
be made without them. Every piece and part of the MATRIX stems from one of the many raw
materials that are extracted from all over the world . Matrix works with suppliers in 20 countries
and to make its products, and the chain gets even more complicated when you break it down into
raw materials. All this raw materials are shipped to India for making of the MAT products.
The transformation process for MAT-X begins with the raw materials that arrives at the
manufacturing plant in India. After that the raw materials are been tested in terms of their
working and quality check is done. When the raw materials are been checked they are stored at
the raw material storage section before it gets to the process.
After that the transformation process starts which is been divided into three main parts which
begins with the first stage where the materials like sensors , chip , processes , battery , screen
and another integral part are been assembled as per the workable prototype . Later at the second
stage the assembled product is sent to the quality check , where any false or bugs relating for the
same are been checked and solved , if the product does not have any faults in its working then it
is send to the third and final part of its process which is alignment of the product with its outer
body and this is the stage where the final testing of the working of the MAT-X is been checked
and approved .
Matrix is very much concerned with the quality and appearance of its product and and so we
make our product go through a lot of quality assurance test so as to give the end users the best
product we can.
After the MAT-X is approved and ready for the customers it is sent and the packaging
department , where the product is wrapped up with attractive and safe packaging that is been
embellished by the matrix symbol . The symbol, emblazoned on the front of the box, catches the
eyes of customers, and upon unwrapping the packaging, they find a crisp color palette of bright
green and black , a striking backdrop for the black smartwatch nestled within along with the
other materials added. The final packed MAT -X box is then sended to the storage unit from
where it would be dispatched for selling in a different part of the different countries for the users.

We at matrix follows the linear / straight / I shaped cellular facility layout . Here
manufacturing cells are used to minimize product movement as well as materials, equipment
and labor during the manufacturing process. By reducing cycle times and material handling,
these cells helps us more easily meet customer demands regarding cost, quality and leadtimes.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
P1 P2 P3 P4 P5 P6
21
Workers in cellular layouts are cross-trained so that they can operate all the equipment within
the cell and take responsibility for its output. Sometimes the cells feed into an assembly line
that produces the final product. In some cases a cell is formed by dedicating certain equipment
to the production of a family of parts without actually moving the equipment into a physical
cell (these are called virtual or nominal cells). In this way, we avoids the burden of rearranging
its current layout. However, physical cells are more common. An automated version of cellular
manufacturing is the flexible manufacturing system (FMS) is used by us . With an FMS, a
computer controls the transfer of parts to the various processes, enabling manufacturers to
achieve some of the benefits .
22
4. Reduction in material flow distance
Material flow distance is defined as total distance travelled by all parts/materials to
manufacture a single product or a variety of different products. By reducing it we can
significantly reduce total manufacturing cost & time. Material flow distance is low in
cellular manufacturing because every parts travel only in a small area (cell). In each
cell, machines are close together. By efficient layout design of machines in each cell,
30 to 70% reduction in material flow distance can be achieved.
23
INVENTORY SYSTEM
Inventory management is a systematic approach to sourcing, storing, and selling inventory—
both raw materials (components) and finished goods (products). It is what goes on behind the
curtain of any successful business. It is the art and science of balancing supply and demand
within a business – of managing the supply chain so that you always have the right amount of
product to make a profit.
In business terms, inventory management means the right stock, at the right levels, in the right
place, at the right time, and at the right cost as well as price. As a part of our supply chain,
inventory management includes aspects such as controlling and overseeing purchases — from
suppliers as well as customers — maintaining the storage of stock, controlling the amount of
product for sale, and order fulfillment.
Matrix Inventory
System
24
Raw Materials
Inventory refers to the total cost of all the components used to manufacture a product. These
materials can be classified as either direct materials (DM) or indirect materials (IM).
Direct materials are those materials that are incorporated into the finished goods like sensors ,
chips , processors etc which are the part of the final product are called as direct materials .
Indirect materials are those materials that are not incorporated in the final product but still are
the part of the production process .
Raw material inventory not only includes the raw material that are used in product , but also
includes the raw material of packageing which is used for the packing .
Finished goods inventory refers to the number of manufactured products in stock that are
available for customers to purchase. The finished goods inventory formula is an
important inventory ratio that can be used to calculate the value of these goods for sale . The
finished goods inventory contains the goods that are ready for dispacting .
Reduce costs
Optimize fulfillment
Provide better customer service
Prevent loss from theft, spoilage, and returns .
In a broader context, inventory management also provides insights into your financial
standing, customer behaviors and preferences, product and business opportunities, future
trends, and more
25
PROCESS DESIGN
Businesses know what they want to produce, but the challenge is to select a process that will
maximize the productivity and efficiency of production. Senior management looks to their
operations managers to inform this decision. As we examine the four major types of production
processes, keeping in mind that the most successful organizations are those that have their
process and product aligned. There are mainly four types for process design .
We at Matrix use the semi – continuous process design strategy out of all the four . It is also
called as Repeatative or Assembly process design.
It's a more efficient method of production, and it greatly benefits businesses. It standardizes
products and creates economies of scale, lowering the prices of goods and
ensuring consistency. Semi - continuous production method are based on two general
principles: (1) the division and specialization of human labour and (2) the use of tools,
machinery, and other equipment, usually automated, in the production of standard,
interchangeable parts and products.
Increased productivity
Uniformity
Lower cost
Faster production
Less error
26
QUALITY ASSURANCE
We at Matrix believe that Quality assurance helps a company meet its clients' demands and
expectations. High quality builds trust with your customers, which, in turn, makes you
competitive in the market. When quality assurance is done right, it provides confidence,
tests the product and lets companies market their products with few worries.
Matrix follows few Policies and programmes at the organization so as to maintain the quality
of the brand name and its products.
27
4. Materials Qualification
Matrix ensures materials with stable quality and supply capability by following the certification
procedure. The procedure is designed to validate product conformity , supply risk assessment
and production capability through supplier self - checklist and manufacturing site audit .

factory’s layout
31
W A S T E M A N A G E M E N T S Y S T E M O F M A T R I X INC.
One of the most challenging aspects for any company is managing the waste generated by its
manufacturing unit. This waste accounts for 230 million tons of trash each year, according to the
Matrix Inc. While specific efforts to reduce the use of packaging material may ultimately reduce
the amount of garbage produced over time . This is defined as a combination of materials that
can be recycled, materials that are destined for landfills, and materials that must be disposed of
carefully due to their contents.
At matrix we use Modernizing Waste Management System which uses Artificial Intelligence as
well as Intelligient Trash Bins and Waste Stream
Sorting , for managing the waste produced during the
production period and also which includes the
recycling of the old products.
Intelligent Trash Bins are fitted with computer vision sensors to identify the type of garbage
being thrown inside them. For example, a system named ITB developed by Matrix Inc. uses an
ML algorithm to train the system to identify and categorize the type of trash being thrown away,
and then the waste is sorted into bins by type. As such, all of the sorting is carried out as the
waste is being disposed, eliminating the need to sort through large piles of waste at the waste
processing center. Further, the system can sense when the trash bin is full, allowing the collection
schedule to be optimized. Instead of sending collection trucks out on a predefined schedule,
when bins are partially filled, collection routes can be optimized to only visit the locations where
bins are filled. Such optimization improves collection speed, lowers human labor costs, and
reduces fuel costs.
32
WASTE STREAM SORTING
Ideally, waste would be sorted at the point of collection, as in the example above. But some
waste cannot be separated by the consumer, and AI technology is being developed to handle this
downstream waste sorting task. In 2019, Matrix Inc. unveiled its METO technology designed
for accurate, high throughput sorting tasks. The METO technology uses DL to remove PE
silicone cartridges from a polyethylene (PE) stream via the use of computer vision information.
Separation of silicon from the cartridges is required to ensure the purity of the waste stream. The
METO technology is fed thousands of images of waste types, and the system employs DL to
learn how to connect the artificial neurons to classify objects. It can thus more quickly identify
different types of silicon cartridges, double cartridges, and even deformed or partially destroyed
cartridges without explicitly being trained on images depicting these objects. According to
MATRIX INC, the METO system has achieved an overall ejection of 95% of the cartridges
using this system.
Matrix today has its own major expansion of recycling program, quadrupling the number of
locations the customer can send their matrix products to be disambled by ‘METOBIX’, our
recycling robot. Metobix will disambled and recycle selected use products returned to the stores
through the retailers.
‘Advanced Recycling must become an important part of the electronics supply chain and
MATRIX is pioneering a new path to health push our industry forward.’
AI WASTE SORTING
In case of Matrix Inc, METOBIX, a robotic innovation developed and showcased at the 2017
Waste Expo conference, can use AI to recognize recyclables such as cartons, plastic bottles, and
containers. The robot then uses a suction cup to pick up the item and place it into the correct bin.
After the robot identifies the object, it uses a suction cup to pick it up and place it into the correct
bin. According to the company, METOBIX can perform up to picks every minute, twice as
productive as humans. METOBIX is now able to disambled the product models at the rate of
200 per hour, recovreing even more important material for reuse. Once materials have been
recovered by METOBIX they are recycled back into the manufacturing process.
33
Rather than needing to have workers sort through garbage, the METOBIX is trained using ML
algorithms to identify and process waste based on the type of garbage. The algorithms are trained
on images of various types of waste. Using computer vision, the robots can sort through waste
and match garbage based on specific characteristics, much in the same way humans might
compare pieces of garbage. Most importantly, the machines will continue to learn over time and
are more efficient than humans.
The overall goal of MATIX Inc. behind using this AI case to address waste management at all
phases : at the initial point of waste disposal, during waste collection and waste processing plants
by using ML , DL and Computer Vision Technology is to be more efficient and effective and
reduce the labour cost required to accomplish this task.

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
STRATEGIES
Our core values should be the heart of our company culture and clearly explained to every
employee from day one. We explain the Company core values what truly matters to our team
and the ideals that we’ll strive to uphold as we expand. We let the employees establish a sense
of belonging to our company in order to become truly engaged, and having a code of values to
follow will help them do so. By consistently promoting our core values to the entire team,
we create a cohesive positive work culture and encourage employees to form an emotional
connection to our organization.
Providing employees opportunities to grow their skill set keeps them engaged, and having
something to work toward keeps them motivated. Not only that, but learning and development
initiatives demonstrate that we value our employees as individuals — we choose to continually
invest in our people, rather than replace employees with candidates that have the skills you
desire.
Employees are engaged when they feel their work is valuable to the company and helps the
organization achieve its long-term goals. Regularly showing our employees that we recognize
and appreciate their efforts is a simple gesture that goes a long way in making them feel valued.
Reward top performers for their achievements with a cash prize, free day off, a gift card to their
favorite lunch spot or a massage gift certificate — whatever makes sense for our team and
aligns with our core values. In addition, we give employees a platform to acknowledge their
peers; feeling respected and appreciated by their team members will help employees become
more engaged.
35
4. PROM OTE TRANSPARE NCY
Bringing employees into the fold as frequently as possible is a highly effective employee
engagement strategy. If our team doesn’t know what’s happening behind the scenes, they can’t
fully invest themselves and their energies into the company. Plus, if they get the sense that
they’re intentionally being left out of the loop, they may start to distrust management and lose
confidence in leadership.
Of course, it’s well within our rights to be discreet as situations unfold or priorities change, but
we aim to inform team members about decisions that directly affect them as soon as we are
able.
This strategy is twofold. The first step is that we create a platform or system that enables
employees to share their thoughts and ask questions to the right people. This will most likely
be our HR department, but C-Suite executives are also accessible to all employees, even if it is
only for a few days out of the quarter and by appointment only.
The second step is to actually use our team’s feedback. Nothing will frustrate and disengage
our employees faster than if they feel they’re wasting their time sharing matters that are truly
important to them. We listen to what our team members have to say and act on it.
Our office environment plays a large part in our employee’s engagement. We have probably
noticed that cubicles are rare in today’s world, and that’s largely due to their isolating nature.
Siloing employees doesn’t quite allow for communication or collaboration, two important
factors of business success.
We rework on our floor plan in a way that encourages more cross-communication between
employees. By forming strong relationships with their peers, they'll build a sense of
camaraderie and belonging that’s vital to fostering an engaged workforce.
Engaged employees are willing to go the extra mile, but that doesn’t mean we should expect
them to operate at an above-average clip all the time. They’re not the only person on the
team, so we make sure they’re not left in the lurch and expected to work on behalf of their
peers.

TECHNOLOGY USED
Type of Automation:
1. Fixed Automation
2. Programmable Automation
3. Flexible Automation
Production rates in programmable automation are generally lower than in fixed automation,
because the equipment is designed to facilitate product changeover rather than for product
specialization. A numerical-control machine tool is a good example of programmable
automation. The program is coded in computer memory. for each different product style, and
the machine tool is controlled by the computer program. Industrial robots are another example.

MATRIX SELLING STRATEGIES
When you walk through the urban streets of cities around the world, in crowded and selected
locations you’ll find an Matrix Store. From Piazza Liberty in Milan, Cotai Central in Macau or
Grand Central Terminal in New York, the Matrix brand leaves a strong impression in the mind
of its consumers.
Those impressions might also create a cognitive gap. In short, people might assume that those
Matrix Stores are also the primary driver of Matrix’s revenues. While Matrix Stores are a crucial
driver of its revenues, they are not a primary driver. Thus, let’s give a glance at
Matrix distribution strategy.
When it comes to distribution channels , Matrix business model leverages both on direct and
indirect channels. Matrix sells its products directly via its Matrix Stores. That is why Matrix
keeps expanding its stores worldwide.
To avoid confusion and prevent reporting errors, we define our dispatch process and make sure
everyone in the warehouse is following it. We make sure workflows are documented and that
staff are provided with adequate training so that everyone is on the same page.
2. Picking Lists
Have our picking lists ready printed before the picking team arrive for work each day. This
means that as soon as they arrive they can start picking. Our Venditan Commerce platform
38
allows retailers to schedule the printing of picking lists for “can-ship” orders at certain times
each day.
3. Warehouse Layout
Laying our inventory out in a more practical manner save our warehouse staff huge amounts
of time on a daily basis. There’s no single correct way to lay out a warehouse – it varies from
retailer to retailer. A good starting point when planning a new layout for our warehouse is to
make sure that quick movers are stored in easily accessible places close to the packing area.
We also consider storing products that are frequently sold together in close proximity.
4. Courier Integration
By having direct integration between our ecommerce platform and chosen courier(s) we can
save time that would otherwise be spent on manually entering tracking codes and delivery
addresses. Barcoded labels can automatically be printed and tracking codes assigned to orders.
Our platform can also automatically send shipping manifests to couriers so that they know what
needs collecting each day.
Handheld scanners can really help when it comes to picking – taking away a lot of the human
error which comes into play when performing repetitive tasks. They allow the team to scan as
they pick so as not to grab the wrong colour or a style that may have been accidentally placed
in the incorrect bin.
It allows the picking team to double check items against invoices using scanners at the
packaging area. Once the system confirms that all items from the order are present and correct,
the invoice and barcoded shipping label are automatically printed ready for dispatch.

STORAGE AND WAREHOUSING SYSTEMOF
M A T R I X I N C.
During the full lifecycle of a product, it is likely to spend some time in a warehouse. After
production, before it begins its journey to the consumer, or at a staging location for restocking
and order fulfillment, warehouses play a pivotal role in supply chain management. The main
functions of warehousing and storage are standard across all verticals. Maintaining inventory
and providing safekeeping for a product before it enters the purchaser’s hands is the main goal.
For Storage and warehousing Matrix has its private warehouse which uses the APR (adjustable
pallet racking system) .The Adjustable Pallet Racking system (APR) is designed to store pallets
in a mechanical and functional way using forklifts. These forklifts access goods through aisles
parallel to the racks. The use of adjustable pallet racks is a logistical solution which can be
adapted to the dimensions of the unit loads and the forklifts. Efficient, resistant, easy-to-
assemble, and with simple load level regulation, this system adapts to any type of product, both
by weight and by volume.
A comprehensive & Strong security system (i.e. CCTV, Alarm system and 24/7 guard). We
are having storage capacity of 50,000 Sq ft area for goods. We monitor our inventory, including
stock levels and ageing, to help reduce our storage and insurance cost, taxes, and tied-up
capital. Blockchain provides warehouse and inventory managers with instant visibility
Blockchain into how well the product is selling and track its physical location. The technology
helps store managers detect theft and manage the inventory more proactively. Blockchain
improves warehouse-related decision-making — store managers will be able to forecast
demand based on the data logs the technology is providing them with
40
Maximization of space by easily and quickly adjusting beam levels to meet any required
volume.
Increased safety factor thanks to the accessories used
The AR-range uprights and frames are pre-galvanised and have an innovative
traceability system.
Other than this there is an inbuilt office in the warehouse which looks after the functioning of
the warehouse using a special algorithim system that keeps the records the products and
accordingly inform the company related the same.

PROCESS UNDERSTANDING
The process of bringing a new product to market can seem long and daunting and when it
comes to bring a product that is highly smart in terms of technology it’s even more difficult but
yet we at Matrix accept this challenge to bring new technology to the users so as to bring the
world to an experience of a new era , by breaking down the manufacturing process into 12 steps
through which it's easier for us to turn our idea into a final product.
Below mentioned are the steps that we follow to achieve are product plan:
After getting answer of all the above questions it’s been decided weather to work on the product
or not .
42
Step 2: Researching and problem solving
It’s crucial to our product concept that we and our experts research the current demands , target
audience, current state of technology , raw materials , and any similar or competing products
that may be already on the market. If there is a product out there that could compete with yours
we believe to make our product a step ahead of theirs and for the same we find answers for
questions like :
At this stage we are very clear about what are plant is and how we are going to make the
product.
Step 3: Designing
Once our research is complete, and the idea has passed the initial screening stage, it’s time to
dive into the design of our concept. As the design is developed, we keep the end user in mind
as they are the most important factors to be considered while designing our product. Since the
end goal is to have a product with has a user-friendly design, a lot needs to be taken into account
during this stage. As we develop our design, we consider the following:
At this stage we have a complete idea about how our product will be and what all features will
it have that will make it unique one and then we get our idea patented.
At this stage the design team list down the features we need in our product and also the difficult
features that are difficult to produce are also been listed down so as to bring a solution for same.
The final image that will get will serve as a visual reference of exactly what we want a product
to look like.
43
Step 5: Testing
At this stage a prototype of our designed product is officially created for testing . We don't wait
until the product is completed to perfection as we may need to solve some pain points before
we get to the stage in development.
This step is very critical one as if a product is not performing the way we had envisioned then
we have to get back again to the designing steps so as to solve the problem. We also check a
product with the target market who are the end users of a product so as to know that a product
fulfill their needs or wants.
After the product is being completely tested and approved by the end users, finally its us sent
for manufacturing.
When our prototype is exactly what we want, and there are no hiccups during the original
testing stage and also is been aproved, we finally begin to manufacture the product. This is
where we think about manufacturing costs and pricing strategies , manufacturing process , the
strategies our product will be made of , how long it will take to manufacture .
This is not the step where we want to cut corners that will sacrifice the quality of our product ,
hence we keep assurance that the product that is been made has no bugs and is working
according to what we planned .
After a product is been tested for the last time and is been of approved , it is sent to the
packaging department where it is covered in crisp color palette of bright black and green, a
striking backdrop for the product nestled within , also emblazoned with the symbol of Matrix
on it .
The packaging is done keeping in mind the safety of the product so that it does not get damage
while going through the distribution channel.
44
Step 9: Official Release (Marketing)
After the whole process is done , now we have successfully taken our product from Idea to a
finished product. And now it’s time to start spelling and hopefully making a profit.
Though this step is mentioned at the end but it begins after our product design is been patent.
We use various method to market our product design as well as the final product. Means like
on search engine, through blogs, on social medias ,through influencers , through advertising ,
billboards etc.
Therefore we provide our customers with various after sales services like 24*7 customer care
centers and on call services , guarantee and waranty cards , advice on how to use the product ,
upgrades , return/ replacements if any defects etc .
45
CONCLUSION
It brings together the 6M's i.e. men, money, machines, materials, methods and
markets to satisfy the wants of the people. The main objective of production
management is to produce goods and services of the right quality, right quantity,
at the right time and at minimum cost. It also tries to improve the efficiency. An
efficient organisation can face competition effectively. Production management
ensures full or optimum utilisation of available production capacity.
Thus by going through making of this project we understood that Production and
Operations Management teaches administrative responsibilities, with time spent
on the factory floor overseeing the manufacturing process and also developes
skills like leadership and interpersonal , problem solving , technical as well as
communication .
