ABOUT DATA
The data consists of price and other mobile phone specifications. The price of mobile phones
varies due to various specifications, and prices alter in line with those changes. Through a
variety of feature variables, these data assist in predicting the price of the mobile device.

This data will help us know about the sales of every product. This data consists of different
mobile brands which are iPhone, Mi, realme and pocco. etc. below which is explained in the
data visualisation. This data will indicate the total number of sales of each product and
compared with each other which is having the highest sales or lowest sales.

DATA DICTIONARY

S. No. Variable Variable type Variable definition

1 Brand Nominal This variable defines about the different

brands of mobile phones.

5 Sales price Ordinal This indicates selling prices of mobile
phones.
6 Discount percentage Ordinal It shows the discount rates for each brand
of mobile phones.
7 Sales Ratio This shows the sales ratios of different
brands.
Problem Statement

How to interpret and visualise the sales of different mobile phones.

Objective-

• To understand the sales of each mobile brands.

• To evaluate as which brand and mobile phone has highest sales.

Inference- This above graph explains about the sales of mobile phones of various brands
having huge shift of different brands, where in the prices are high the sales of the phones is
less in number but comparing Samsung and other brands the sales of Samsung phones have
higher because the features provided and the price of the product is more feasible hence,
customers are more purchasing this phone.
Scatter diagram:

• Sales price vs Discount percent

Inference- This scatter diagram shows that when the discount percent points in the graph
is increasing the selling price of the phone is less. This will help us to understand that
when the selling prices of the mobile phones is higher then the discount percentage is
low and this shows the points scattered in the diagram are away.

Inference- While comparing the overall sales of different mobile phones using histogram,
Pie chart and Bar Graph, we can infer that Samsung has the highest sales that is 31% (nearly
3500000) of overall sales and following apple has the second highest sales that is 30% (more
than 3000000), and Poco has the lowest sales of 8% (nearly 1000000). Seeing this we can
understand that Samsung mobiles has more impact on customers and hold the market power
in the smartphone industry.

Conclusion-

• Visualization helps us to understand and know detailed study about the data, which
determines how to interpret and visualize through pie chart, bar graph, histogram and line
graphs.
• Line graph shows the increase or decrease in frequency of a particular variable.
• Scatter diagram will help us to understand how to interpret the relationship of data
between two variables.
• Probability distribution charts like histogram, pie chart and bar graphs define the
frequency of a variable.
