Story 8

Daniel the liar

Daniel was a liar. He lies all the time. He was lying when he told his friends that he is a
Prince. He was lying when he told them that he was exercising every day; and that he
likes riding sheep and eating worms. He was also lying when he told them that he is so
bold that he once killed a snake.
One day, his friends wanted to teach him a lesson because they knew he was lying. They
were playing in the park. There was an old house that had a butcher’s ghost in it. “You
are so bold Daniel, take us there!” Daniel told them “this is not real but I will take you.”
Entering the front yard was easy. When he was opening the lock of the house, they heard
a loud boom. They saw the ghost! Daniel screamed “ahhhhhhhhhhhh…” and ran away. It
was not a ghost, it was their friend Ryan but he was covering himself with a towel. After
they got out Daniel said: “I am not a fighter and I was not telling the truth…I am sorry
“. They said “we are sorry too we were mean to you but you should stop lying,” He said
“ok. I will. Guys did you know one time I slept in a freezer?” his friends said: "no not
again!!!
