First Install

To install BACset you have to unzip the file “BACset_X_YZ - Setup.zip” and run
“InstallBACset.exe”.

Upgrade from previous versions

To upgrade the BACset version from any previous version, you shall unzip the file
“BACset_x_y.zip” and copy the file called “bacset.exe” into the folder in your PC that contains the
old software release (usually “c:\Program Files\Carel\BACset\”) eventually overwriting the old
version.

Older BACset releases are always compatible with newer pCOnet firmware, BACset v1.02 is able
to communicate with A1.1.7-B1.0.2 and obviously it will not be able to configure and to use new
pCOnets’ features.
