Robert Baden-Powell's advice to "TRY AND LEAVE THIS WORLD A LITTLE BETTER
THAN YOU FOUND IT" serves as a reminder that the bar for effort and commitment in society
must continually be raised. not only for the benefit of all of humanity but will inspire future
generations to work for a better future.
OVERJOYED and beyond GRATEFUL These described what the entire Samar National School
feels today as we welcome another blessing from the kind-hearted stakeholder of this institution.
I am incredibly happy to welcome you all to our humble school. Our school promotes
RESPONSIBILITY and DILIGENCE while also working to improve society on a daily basis.
Today, you all shall witness the best of our students.
The two cornerstones of the school are DEVELOPMENT and HUMANITY. In all we do, we try to
uphold the school's guiding principles. You can look forward to a number of activities today. Every
act will be presented with the utmost integrity and respect in our efforts.
Everything Began With A Dream! I desire that each Samarian enjoy a happy life and help those who
are in peril.
On February 5, 2020, in collaboration with the city administration led by Mayor Dexter Uy, the
Filipino Dental Society of Ontorio Canada carried out a medical mission to the barangays of
Catbalogan city, making that goal a reality.
SNS is fortunate to have Maam Myra Veronica Letaba as a tool to help our guest Mr. George D.
Davantes, the project coordinator of Help Alliance, realize that ambition.
They had a conversation about the status of our request for support for our school on May 15, 2021,
and by February 18 of the following year, 2022, our request had been approved. On April 17, 2022,
Luftansa Global Business Services through Help Alliance deposited reasonable assistance totaling
57,000 Euros to support the schools' programs for providing school supplies and engaging in feeding
activities- the schools initiative to curve zero drop-outs, improve academic performance, and
increase another performance indicators of the school.
Helping others should come naturally. It shouldn’t be a question of “why should I do it”, but “how
can I do it”. Some people are less fortunate; life is not kind to all of us. While you might be lucky
enough to live a comfortable life, others don’t have a roof over their head or food to put on the table.
You won’t be able to help everyone in need, but your gesture, no matter how small, will definitely
make a difference.

After the signing of the Deed of Donation and turnover of projectors last May 5, 2022. The team
from Samar National School made their first action right away by feeding 89 students on May 5,
2022. from Brgy Ibol, Sitio Majaba, and 33 students are students from Brgy Basiao.

And today- they will distribute 3,000 packs of school supplies and feeding activities to 60 learners
and the other half next week.
Indeed, a great manifestation that god is good! Thank you Sir GOERGE D. DAVANTES, Help
Alliance and Luftansa Global Business Services for understanding what these learners need and
hope. May god reward you a thousand-fold and may you continue to include the samarians in all of
your undertakings.
To you our dear learners, apart from the learnings, you shall also build a ton of memories here.
Additionally, you will have friendships for life to whom you can always turn. Your seniors will be
your mentors forever. Moreover, the teachers here will surely drive you to your goal. The authorities
will comfort you in ways that you never feel deserted or isolated. I wish you a golden time ahead. I
hope that you are all very positively looking forward to your respective journeys ahead here. All the
very best. You all have us and we have your back! Rock your time here.

Group. Let me end my speech by quoting one of the 20 really good reasons to support the help

Reason 9 BECAUSE IT HELPS PEOPLE TO REACH THEIR POTENTIAL.

We must take a step back and reevaluate our purpose in this world beginning with the acceptance
that we are responsible for managing it. Too many individuals believe they are victims in their
chosen path when they actually have a lot of power. In order to take charge, you must examine your
conduct from a new perspective in three key areas: understanding yourself, doing well in challenging
jobs, and displaying character and leadership.

Just like the mantra of Help Alliance, Closer to the world, closer to its people. Thank you
