Maharashtra B.Tech Admission 2022 - The authorities has released the MHT CET exam date 2022
on the MHT CET 2022 official website - cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates who qualify in the MHT CET or
JEE Main 2022 will be eligible for the Maharashtra B.Tech admission 2022 subject to fulfilling the MHT
CET eligibility criteria.

Candidates applying either through JEE Main or MHT CET had to fill the application form but
candidates with JEE Main score need not appear in MHT CET. Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech
courses in Maharashtra need to appear in the Engineering Common Entrance Test called MHT CET
2022. Maharashtra B.Tech admission is also on the basis of JEE Main score. Maharashtra CET for
engineering admission is conducted in online mode only. The admission process will be carried out
online through MHT CET counselling and seat allotment procedure.

Maharashtra B.Tech Admission Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates who meet the prescribed MHT CET 2022 eligibility criteria can apply for the entrance
exam. The eligibility criteria of MHT CET denotes the academic qualifications required, age limit,
nationality etc.

State Common Entrance Test Cell, DTE, Maharashtra has released the application form of MHT CET
2022. First candidates will have to keep documents ready to be uploaded for filling the application
form.

Steps to fill the MHT CET 2022 application form are as follows:

Step 1- MHT CET Registration: Candidates have to submit their personal, academic, contact,
education, bank and other details. Candidates had the option of Registration through Aadhaar where
details will be auto fetched or Non-Aadhaar where they can fill the details. After successful
registration, a password would be generated to be used for future logins.

Step 2- Filling up Application Form of MHT CET 2022: Candidates needed to login and fill all the
requisite details.

Step 3- Upload of Photograph and Signature: Candidate had to upload their recent Photograph and
Signature as given in the table above
Step 4- Payment of MHT CET 2022 Application Fees: After uploading the images, candidate could
make payment of the application fee as per their category using Online Payment mode through
credit/debit card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), IMPS, Net banking, Cash cards/mobile wallets.

Step- 5-Final Submission: Submit MHT CET application form 2022 and take a printout of the
confirmation page. Also note the MHT CET 2022 Application Number, Log-In ID & Password.

Correction of MHT CET Application Form

The authorities will provide the MHT CET correction facility soon on the official website. Candidates
who have made mistakes in their MHT CET 2022 application form have to fill a new application form.
The fee previously paid will not be adjusted or refunded. To fill a new application form of MHT CET,
candidates will have to cancel the old one and fill a fresh one as per the steps given above and pay
the application fee afresh.

MHT CET Mock Test 2022

The authorities will release the mock test of MHT CET 2022 on the official website. Candidates can
now access the mock test without requiring any login credentials. The mock test is an exact replica of
the entrance examination and the candidates will be able to practice accordingly. A countdown timer
will be set and once the time is over, the mock test will automatically come to an end. Using the mock
test, the candidates can get familiar with the exam pattern.

Maharashtra B.Tech Admission Exam Admit Card 2022

Candidates who apply for the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will be able to
download the MHT CET 2022 admit card in online mode. Candidates can download the admit card of
MHT CET 2022 by entering their application number and password. The admit card will mention
information like exam centre details, candidate’s name, hall ticket number, exam timing etc. After
downloading the admit card of MHT CET, candidates must ensure that all the details furnished on it
are correct.

The MHT CET 2022 admit card is an important identity document and must be carried to the exam
hall. Candidates who fail to carry it to the examination centre will not be allowed to appear for the
entrance test.

MHT CET Exam Centres 2022

The venues where the entrance exam will be conducted are the exam centres of MHT CET 2022.
Candidates have to choose the MHT CET 2022 while filling their application form as per their
preference. The entrance exam will be conducted across all the district headquarters in the State of
Maharashtra as well as at Capital Districts of the selected states outside Maharashtra like Bihar,

MHT CET Sample Papers 2022

One important step in preparation is to solve sample papers of MHT CET 2022. The idea behind
solving previous question papers and MHT CET 2022 sample papers is to get ample practice with the
question paper and perform well in the actual entrance exam. The authorities have released practice
tests that are computer-based and on the lines of the actual exam. Candidates can use the same to
check their progress and preparation levels.

The authorities have released practice tests. These can be availed at the various colleges across the
state. Candidates will have to register for these practice sessions at the nearest college to them and
practice there. The State CET Cell has also facilitated the practice test of MHT CET online for which
candidates will have to enter their MHT CET admit card number.

MHT CET Result 2022

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will announce the MHT CET 2022 result in online
mode. The result of MHT CET 2022 will be in the form of percentile scores of candidates in Physics,
Chemistry, Mathematics and/ or Biology along with an overall percentile score obtained in the exam.
Candidates also will get to know their state rank based on these scores. They will be required to
download the MHT CET 2022 result in the form of a score card / rank card. Candidates must note
that the result of MHT CET 2022 will not be sent individually to any candidates.

How to check MHT CET 2022 result?

• Go to the official website cetcell.mahacet.org/landing-page

• Click on the "MHT-CET 2022" link given therein

• Enter the MHT CET 2022 roll number and captcha to login

• The MHT CET 2019 result will be displayed.

• Download the score card of MHT CET and keep it safe as it will be needed for counselling and
admission purposes.

MHT CET Merit List 2022

Admission to various B.Tech programmes offered by the 342 participating institutes will be on the
basis of merit list/rank list of MHT CET 2022. The authorities will publish the MHT CET 2022 merit list.
Candidates who have appeared for the exam and qualified will be able to check the MHT CET 2022
merit list by submitting their application ID and date of birth. The provisional merit list will be
released first followed by the final one. Candidates will be allowed to file any grievances against the
MHT CET 2022 provisional merit list within a given frame of time following which they will be
considered and the final MHT CET merit list 2022 will be published.

Maharashtra B.Tech Admission Counselling & Seat Allotment 2022

The state CET cell will be the authority conducting the MHT CET 2022 counselling in online mode.
There will be three rounds of counselling of MHT CET 2022 followed by a spot/ institutional round if
there are vacancies. Candidates have to register, fill their choices of colleges and colleges in the order
of their preference. After registration, the candidates must get their documents verified at the
designated FCs. There is no counselling fee for MHT CET 2022 qualified candidates. Candidates
applying on the basis of JEE Main scores must however pay the counselling fee. MHT CET counselling
2022 is Centralized Counselling Process (CAP). The seat allotment of MHT CET 2022 is based purely
on merit and preference of the candidates. The following procedure describes the counselling of
MHT CET 2022 in a nutshell.

MHT CET 2022 Counselling Procedure

Step 1: Online registration to participate in MHT CET 2022 Counselling (Centralised Admission
Process). Candidates must complete registration, fill and lock their choices of colleges and courses in
order of their preference.

Step 2: Visiting Facilitation Centres (FC) in person for Document Verification

Step 3: Display of provisional merit list of eligible candidates

Step 4: Reporting at the allotted institute: Candidates have to report to the allotted institute to
confirm the allotted seat after the final CAP round. Once a seat is allotted to the candidate, they will
have the options like freeze to keep the seat allot, slide for a seat in the institute allotted but for a
different course and float for upgrading to a higher choice of college and course in the next rounds.

Maharashtra B.Tech Admission Participating Institutes 2022

There are around 342 colleges in Maharashtra that will accept admission on the basis of MHT CET
2022 ranks. Colleges that offer admissions through the CAP are MHT CET 2022 participating
institutes. About 127537 seats are offered through the CAP rounds in Maharashtra CET in 2020.
Candidates choosing the colleges and courses must take into account the finer points of each of the
participating institutes, like cutoff marks required for admissions, ranking/rating of the college,
facilities offered and placement statistics.
