DAY 22: REMEMBER THIS…
MEMORY EXERCISE 1

Welcome to Week 4!

This week, you’re delving into the miraculous and magical gift of memory. Early in
this session, Bob presents you with the provocative assertion about your memory.
He claims that it is, in fact, perfect. Then he shares an exercise that proves it.

Today, if you haven’t done so already, go through Bob’s memory exercise and
find out just how right he is.

Your memory IS perfect—and as you’ll discover throughout this session, it’s a gift
worth far more than you ever realized. The more you strengthen it, the more of that
value you’ll receive. So get to it!

DAY 23: LOOKING BACK TO MOVE FORWARD
MEMORY EXERCISE 2

Grab your journal!

Your mind is full of memories. Some are valuable and worthy of occupying that
marvelous thinking stuff. Others … aren’t.

Today, I want you to get in touch with your memory.

Set aside 30 minutes, clear your space and your mind, and create two lists in your
journal.

On the first list, write down what things in your life you have committed to memory
that are important, in a positive way, to the person you want to become and the life
you want to create.

On the second, write down what things in your life have you committed to memory
that do NOT reflect or support this future vision.

Make sure the memories you allow to occupy your precious mental space are doing
you a service. If they aren’t, use the tools you’ve discovered thus far in the program
to acknowledge them and leave them behind.

DAY 24: WHAT’S IN A NAME…
MEMORY EXERCISE 3

Are you up for a challenge?

This week’s session is all about the gift of memory, and its ability to shape and
transform your present and future results.

As you go through today, I challenge you to remember the name of every single
person you come in personal contact with.

Maybe that will include the barista who serves you coffee, someone you meet on
public transit, or a new client. Whoever they are, commit their name to memory, and
use it in conversation with them.

Take note of the response—not just how they respond to you, but the vibration that
is created between the two of you, and how it made YOU feel. Use your journal to
reflect on the ways this kind of harmony, created through the power of memory, can
help you to achieve your goals.

DAY 25: BELIEVE IT AND YOU’LL SEE IT
MEMORY EXERCISE 4

In this session, Mary Morrissey shares the remarkably powerful practice of creating
memories of the things you want to happen—as if they have already manifested in
your life, and you’re reflecting back on them.

Last week, you created a vision board filled with images that collectively represent
your ideal life.

Today, take one specific element on that vision board, and spend 15 minutes
visualizing it as if it is in your life NOW.

Bring all of your gifts to bear on this exercise: your imagination, your intuition, and
your will. See yourself, in your mind’s eye, fully engaged with this thing. Get involved
with it at every sensory level. Then commit this visualization to your memory. I’ll be
asking you to recall it later on this week.

DAY 26: PRESSING “PLAY” ON THE PAST
MEMORY EXERCISE 5

Do you have a favorite movie?

One you’ve watched more times than you can count? One whose lines you know by
heart?

We watch certain movies over and over because we love the way they make us
feel.

Reliving a favorite memory has the same effect. But it can do so much more.

Tonight, spend 30 minutes sifting through your favorite memories. Examine each
one in detail, and connect that general “good” feeling you get from it to a specific
source. You may cherish a memory because it reflects a positive aspect of yourself
that you really value. A beloved memory might show you an ideal of family
harmony, or financial success, or personal excellence that you want to achieve.

When you figure out what it is, project that memory up on your mental movie
screen. Watch it unfold, looking for all the elements that connect to your present-
day goal or dream.

Make a mental library of your best memories, and “watch” them frequently. When
you hold those images in the forefront of your mind, the world around you will start
to reflect them more and more.

DAY 27: GUARD THE GATES
MEMORY EXERCISE 6

How well do you guard the gates of your mind?

Your mind is a precious space, and all kinds of things are trying to get into it—some
good, some bad. What makes it in is entirely up to you.

Today, be alert and aware of everything that presents itself to your mind.
Consciously submit positive thoughts and experiences to your memory, while
releasing negative thoughts and experiences.

YOU are the ultimate master of your mind, and of your memory. Don’t ever forget it!

DAY 28: REMEMBER TOMORROW
MEMORY EXERCISE 7

“The mind is everything.


What you think, you become.”

Congratulations, you’ve completed Week 4!

During the past week of exploring the gift of memory, you’ve spent significant time
creating a vivid picture of your ideal life.

Earlier in the week, I asked you to isolate one element from that picture, and
visualize yourself already in possession of it.

Tonight, when you lie down in bed, bring up positive future memories of that
element on the screen of your mind. Remember achieving it and enjoying it, and do
so with as much detail and emotion as possible. Remember the people who were
with you, the temperature outside and the way the sky looked that day; what you
wore, what you ate. Feel that sense of satisfaction, accomplishment and happiness
in every cell of your body.

Let that feeling be your lullaby, impressing itself into your wonderful “thinking stuff”
as you drift off to sleep.
