S. OTHER INFORMATION:

1) Has been actively involved in teaching Under-Graduate students of Biotechnology from

the academic year 2003-04 to 2010-11 as full time teacher. Also, Headed the Department
of Biotechnology from May 2006 to March 2011. During this period i.e., from the
academic year 2003-04 to 2010-11 successfully established Biotechnology Department
and Laboratories in Yuvaraja’s College, University of Mysore, Mysuru.
2) Involved in teaching five year integrated M.Sc. in Molecular Biology course from
January 2008 to June 2010 and also, from August 2012 to June 2013. During this period,
guided the students to prepare and present the seminar on Genetic Engineering
Techniques. Also, worked as an examiner to conduct practical examinations as well as
valuation of theory papers.
3) Involved in Teaching Sericulture as an Open Elective Paper for M.Sc. in Chemistry and
Botany students of Yuvaraja’s College, University of Mysore from the academic year
2012-13 to 2019-20. Also, guided the students to prepare and present the seminar on
various topics of sericulture.
4) Served as one of the Selection Committee Members for the selection of Guest Lecturers’
in Biotechnology for the academic year 2010-11 on 18-08-2010 at Yuvaraja’s College,
Mysuru.

5) Served as one of the Selection Committee Members for the selection of Junior Research
Fellow in the DBT funded project on 14-09-2009 at Central Food Technology and
Research Institute, Mysuru.
6) Served as Purchase Committee Member to establish Molecular Biology Department and
Laboratories in Yuvaraja’s College, University of Mysore, Mysuru, during 2006-07,
2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10.
