1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 TAWAL is the First Tower Infrastructure Organization in Saudi Arabia focusing on Tower infrastructure
sharing with a vision to become the largest telecom infrastructure service provider in the Middle East and
ambitions to become one of the top players globally. We at TAWAL currently operate more than 15,000
telecom towers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and expanding rapidly. TAWAL is currently engaged in
build, design and network management of telecom towers with primary goal to serve mobile operators,
governments/private sector and any industry interested to utilize TAWAL Tower infrastructure in the
country.
2. OBJECTIVE OF RFQ
2.1 TAWAL needs to secure proposal from Contractors for the infrastructure requirement in Diplomatic
Quarter with plans to supply, install, construction hoarding structure. The Contractors shall consider all the
projects’ requirements and standard during the entire course of the projects.
2.2 The Contractor should specifically follow the requirements and material type as specified in submitting
with the RFQ response.
3.1 The contractor should also consider, Policies. Standards, Procedures and Process. All the risk factors coupled
on this project shall be considered by contractor and vendor to completely deliver the task. The contractors are
required to provide the following.

5.1 All Work sites shall be completely fenced off from public ingress.

5.2 Hoarding will be provided and maintained in good condition, by the contractor.
5.3 The structural design shall be approved by the project consultant.
5.4 The contractor shall erect, adapt, maintain, and clear away temporary fencing.
5.5 The contractor shall not allow his workmen or any other person to pass beyond the limits of the site other
than for the purpose of access.

8.1 Hoarding Finishes must be submitted to the Diplomatic Quarter Office for the approval of the proposed
paint colors, brand colors or vinyl company signage, which is useful for displaying concept renderings of
the finished project which is recommended.
8.2 Access gates for Construction workers and vehicles must be shown in submittal.
8.3 Poles are to be mounted in concrete set underground and if needed to be counterweighted by concrete
block for additional support (inside of the plot) as shown below:
8.4 The Posts are to be Bolted onto a Concrete Block (600mmx600mmx400mm). The Plywood is then to be
fixed onto the poles and secured where the back end of the concrete block is flush with the property line.
8.5 Placement and Securing in Special Cases of Hoarding poles and Plywood Sheets (Additional Clearance):
8.6 The Posts are to be Bolted onto a Concrete Block (600mmx600mmx400mm). The Plywood is then to be
fixed onto the poles and secured where the additional Concrete Support is flush with the property line
whereas a minimum of 1.5m clearance for pedestrians is left on the sidewalk.
