1. How to submit an Assignment on myModules
Note: To submit an assignment on myModules, you will first need to refer to the Student Manuals:
How to log in to myUNISA and How to access the Module Content in myModules to use this
Manual.

Once you reach the end of the steps listed you will then select the assignment you wish to submit
your answers for. (in this example we will select Assignment Test)

You will then click on the selected assignment and it will take you to an assignment submission
screen where it will give you basic information with regards to the assignment that is to be
submitted.

You will then click on the Add submission button right at the bottom of the submission page.

As you can see above, you are shown how the assignment will be marked according to the
grading criteria.

Now you will be directed to the actual assignment submission page, whereby you will be attaching
the assignment and uploading it onto myModules.

As you can see below you are given the necessary information with regards to how you will submit
the assignment.

• Maximum file size

• Maximum number of files
• Accepted file types
You can choose to either drag and drop the assignment into the Submission upload field provided
or you can manually choose to browse your file manager on your PC/Laptop and then add the
assignment

Once you have uploaded the assignment it should look like this.

Once it has been uploaded you will then click on Save changes.

Once you have clicked on Save changes you will then be directed to a Submission Status page.

As shown in the image above:

• You can see the submission status of your assignment

• The actual file submission
• As well as you can leave a comment to accompany your submission
You will also see at the bottom of your submission page that you can edit or remove your
submission. This is only available if the lecturer has made it available.
