APPENDIX-VI

PRICE BID
SCHEDULE OF RATES AND SERVICES FOR MANDI TRANSPORT CONTRACTOR AT
________________(Food Corporation of India, Divisional Office, Moradabad and location of
procurement centre/Mandi/Godowns/loading points to be specified)

For transporting foodgrains bags to and from Procurement centres/mandis/godowns to designated


depots and unloading points:

Up to 8 Kms Rs 1724.92 per 100 qtl

Above 8 Kms but up to 20 Kms Further increase at Rs 82.51 per 100 qtl. per Km

Above 20 Kms but up to 40 Kms Further increase at Rs 64.85 per 100 qtl. per Km

Above 40 Kms but up to 80 Kms Further increase at Rs 53.28 per 100 qtl. per Km

Above 80 Kms Further increase at Rs 44.11 per 100 qtl. per Km

If required, the Tenderer/Bidder may also be directed by the (Divisional Manager, Food Corporation
of India, Divisional Office, Moradabad) or an officer acting on his behalf to transport the Custom
Milled Rice (CMR) from the rice mill to the linked depots of FCI/CWC/SWC, as the case may be. For
this work the Tenderer/Bidder shall be paid at the same rates at which the contract is awarded.

Methodology for offering/Quoting of Price Bid in respect of Handling and Transport Contract
The prospective bidders are instructed to follow as below mentioned methodology:

The Bidderbuyers shall quote his rate for item no. 1 in above table in absolute
terms per 100 Quintal of foodgrain (paddy/Rice) for transportation of these 100quintal
to 8km. The quoted rate will be compared with the schedule of rate (SOR) which
is Rs. 1724.92/- per 100 Quintal and percentage (%) increase or decrease will be
worked out and this increase or decrease (SOR/ASOR/BSOR) will be made
applicable to applicable distance for transportation as per the
distance slabs in table given above at Appendix VI . If the quoted rate is same as
SOR (Rs. 1 7 2 4 . 9 2 /- per 100 quintal for transportation of paddy/CMR then
quoted rate will be treated as equal to SOR for applicable distance.
Thus, the B i d d e r / buyers should go through the SOR available as a part of MTF
before quoting the rate, as the absolute rate quoted by the buyer. This quoted rate
will be the only base for computing the % of ASOR/BSOR, which will be
applicable to all items for Scheduled of Rates

ILLUSTRATION (TO be treated as example only)


a). Suppose a buyer quoted Rs. 1897.41 per 100 quintal in absolute terms, its
rate will be treated as 10% ASOR (Above Scheduled of Rate).
b) Suppose a buyer quoted Rs. 1 7 2 4 . 9 2 per 100 quintal in absolute terms its
rate will be treated as SOR (Scheduled of Rate).
c). Suppose a buyer quoted Rs. 1 5 5 2 . 4 2 per 100 quintal in absolute terms its
rate will be treated as 10% BSOR (Below Scheduled of Rate).
In similar way the Bidders are requested to quote the rate in absolute
term. In condition (c) the rate will be treated as 10% BSOR and it is
applicable to applicable distance a s p e r schedule of rates given in the price
bid/Appendix VI.
Also in similar way the Bidders are requested to quote the rate in
absolute term. In condition (a) the rate will be treated as 10% ASOR (Above
Scheduled of Rate). and it is applicable to applicable distance as per schedule of
rates given in the price bid.
