Course Description:

The course discusses the different methods and principles governing the practice of professions and related fields in the political science.

Course Policies:

Ethical Policies: The BU Student Handbook governing student conduct and behavior shall be the basis and focal point for ethical standards to be observed. Sexual
harassment and bullying of all sorts shall be dealt with accordingly. Respect for authorities and respect for others shall always be observed. In this case respect is not earned
but mandated.

Academic Integrity Policy: Plagiarism is a major offense. All papers submitted shall be edited by a plagiarism checker and will be judged based on a common standard of
percentage.

Policies on Absences and Tardiness: Students are expected to be punctual and always present in class meetings.

Use of the Learning Management System: BU LMS

Use of Mobile Phones and Gadgets: In virtual meetings, cell phones, lap tops, tablets etc have to be muted if not being called to recite. In face to face meetings, cellphones
should be on silent mode, laptops, tablets, etc. are not required.

Special/Make-Up Quiz/Examinations/Work: Make up classes shall be held with permission from the authorities to make up for time lost due to unforeseen circumstances.

Dress and Grooming Codes: In face to face meetings students are required to wear the University’s prescribed uniform and on online meetings, everyone is expected to dress
appropriately. Common standards of modesty shall be observed.

Statement on Student Wellness: The physical and emotional well-being of the learner shall take precedence in every activity and learning opportunities.

Advising and Support: The student shall be provided with advising support as agreed upon in the introductory part of the syllabus

Caveat: The instructor reserves the right to introduce a teaching approach in the delivery of the content and to make some changes in the learning approach to suit
the learning needs of the students and the demands of the time and circumstances. However, the outcome and content shall remain intact in compliance with the
CMO. The students should be responsible to learn about these changes if they miss any class time.
