EXPERIENCE IS ONE WAY TO EARN KNOWLEDGE.

During the
product production a feeling of excitement and nervous for the reason that it might
not taste good or it will not click for our target markets which are the students. We
make sure that our kalatuna product will give as better benefits to all the people
who engage to taste the product. Our product is compose of grated squash and
steamed tuna with the fillings of carrots, bell pepper, spring onion and cheese. To
come up with the desired product we are entitled to contribute a small amount to
finance all the materials needed.

During the presentation of our kalatuna product on September 15,2019 feels

like (mura kag kalibangon nga kaihion) mixed emotions like excitements and
disappointment. Although we did not present it well, because of our costing
process but we are thankful because Mr. Bantug appreciates the effort we made
through. He like our product that is made of grated squash and tuna inside. Our
product gives us health benefits for growth and development of immune system. It
is also essential for snacks and meal category. Mr. Bantug give an advice to make
a product line for our kalatuna product. He suggested to make different style with
a different choice of sauce which includes hot sauce. We made four distinct
categories of our kalatuna product, such as the kalatuna tart (big and small)
Kalatuna balls that raise of ½ grams per piece. Kalatuna nuggets that has rough
size of a dice with weight of ½ grams per piece and kalatuna Empanada with a
braided shape along the top side.

After the presentation we are so happy and proud that we really claim it.
But the problem did not end. Because there's more. We are ask to present product
launching during the College of Business Administration's day. We are ask to
present the kiosk, income, marketing efforts, social media for promotion, Opening
and feedbacks from the customers. Like what? But with the help of our set. With
full cooperation and support the team manage the task effectively and efficiently.

During the Product Launching it was not easy at first because we have a lot
of competitors. We're very busy during that day but we are assigned to perform
different task and still we are able manage the task given. It seems like pressure
but GOD will guide and provide everything. Ma’am Marilyn P. Macapangal our
Campus Administrator and also our Campus Dean do the honour of cutting the
ribbon for the opening of the newly invented products in Negros Oriental State
University-Siaton Campus. With the help of our Campus Accountant Miss Niña
Theresa L. Ragay and Mr Eduardo Ege our SG Coordinator the program became
successful. Afterwards, Ma’am Yaya ask about the kalatuna product, how it was
made? How many pieces will produce in one piece of a squash and a lot more?
We are blessed because despite of our efforts and time spent during production we
reach our goal or we are able to accomplish it thoroughly.

I was assigned to collect feedbacks from the customers. It was not easy type
of task because I will be going to interview or ask different people to give any
comments or suggestions about the product we've made. Also I'm a shy type
person but I did my best in order to get the desired task given. I learned that we
should value the time and effort we shared together by putting knowledge and
embrace all negative comments from every individuals. Time is the greatest
resources and one thing that you can't go back. I received different feedback from
the customers some of those are bullying about the product they tasted but it’s
okay because their comments is our improvements. Most of the customers like our
kalatuna product, they want it to promote in our municipality as one of our
delicacy. One of the customer said that he is not afraid to eat our product because
it’s nutritious and yummy with the perfect combination of the sauce being made.
Kalatuna member’s we’re happy and proud that we accomplished our task without
any barriers. Customers will walk in and walk out of our business, but the one
whose footstep made a long lasting impression is the one who will never walk out
about the product we’ve made.
