technique to the class and walk everyone through it. Ideally, this should take right around 5 minutes to
demonstrate the new technique.
DUE: March 10th, In Class.

Digital Forgery
You're an art thief! Create a detailed forgery of another digital artist's work:
 Choose a digital artist and get them approved, then select three images of their style and create
your forgery in your chosen artist’s style. I recommend DeviantArt is a good place to source
digital artists and their work.
 You will submit your digital forgery in both photoshop file form AND as an exported graphics
format (.jpeg or .png).
 You will also submit the three images from your chosen artist that you used as inspiration.
 Pay particular attention to sizing, signature, and some of the other things. These are the details
that make for a successful forgery!
DUE: March 12th  by 11:59 PM

Digital Poster
You’ve been assigned to the marketing team at the theater of your choice. For an upcoming show or
event, you are to create a poster that will be plastered around town to advertise the show.

For the poster, the qualifications are:

 The poster can be either 11x17 or 18x24 size.
 Poster is single sided.
Please include the following information:
 Producing Company
 Producing Venue (Name of place, and address)
 Ticket Prices and where to purchase
 Performance Dates & Times of the production
 Any necessary contact info
 Any other relevant information!

DUE: March 15th by 11:59 PM.

Analog Forgery
You're an art thief! Create a detailed forgery of another artist's work. Just like the digital project, with one
twist: The original artist must be an analog artist! So- an artist working in a traditional medium- acrylic,
marker, watercolor, oil, gouache, pen and ink, colored pencil, crayon, pastel, you get the picture.
 Choose a digital artist and get them approved, then select three images of their style and create
your forgery in your chosen artist’s style.
 You will submit your analog forgery in both photoshop file form AND as an exported graphics
format (.jpeg or .png).
 You will also submit the three images from your chosen artist that you used as inspiration.
 Pay particular attention to sizing, signature, and some of the other things. These are the details
that make for a successful forgery!
