The Dracul

(Homebrew)
(Bloodline-Tzimisce Only)

The Old Clan. The Carpathians. The Dragons of old. The voivodes. The Dracul, also called the
Old Clan Tzimisce by their far more numerous fleshcrafting kin, these Cainites have not joined the
Sabbat or cultivated the Vicissitude of the modern Tzimisce. Indeed, some even claim to predate it!
Whatever the case, most see the “art” of shaping as an abomination, or a ploy by the Eldest to
control all his descendants.

These ancient Cainites were undoubtedly far more common in the Dark Ages, but many of the
Tzimisce Elders met their ends in the original Anarch Revolt. When the Sabbat was formed, these
voivodes refused to join the fledgling sect, instead choosing to keep to their castles and comfortable
lifestyles, while only occasionally meeting with other Cainites.

However, in recent years, many Elders feel the call of the Beckoning, and have become fearful of
losing everything they have kept over millennia. They have begun siring more childer to protect
their holdings and legacies in the event of their succumbing to the call, and those childer have
begun to sire. In the modern nights, the Dracul are stepping back into the Jyhad.

(These Cainites cannot and will not learn the Discipline of Vicissitude. Replace Vicissitude with
Dominate.)

• Hoards of Gold and Silver

Much like myths of dragons with their massive collections of valuable objects, your line has large amounts of wealth
and influence accumulated throughout the ages. You have brought some of this wealth along with you. Gain 3 dots to
split between Resources and Mask.

•• Commanding Aura
The Old Clan has long since reigned as the Lords of the Carpathian Mountains. They will suffer no disrespect, and
their orders must be followed, even by other Cainites. Add 1 dice to Intimidation Rolls. Kindred with Sense the
Unseen see your aura grow briefly brighter.

••• Voivode’s Authority

You speak to the outside world on behalf of your voivode, one of great survivors of the Anarch Revolt, and all
Tzimisce have been made aware of it ahead of your arrival to the city. Add 2 dice to Social Rolls against another
Tzimisce.

•••• Pure Shifter

The Eldest was said in one legend to have been Embraced by Irad the Strong, reportedly a true master of the Protean
Discipline. Though the Dracul disavow the Vicissitude commonly seen among modern Tzimisce, the Dracul have
shown an affinity with the powers of shapeshifting. You may learn Protean by yourself, and pay experience for it as if
you were a Caitiff.

••••• One With the Land

The Old Clan Tzimisce are largely Kolduns, inherently tied to the land they inhabit, shedding their ancient Vitae in
payment to the earth. In exchange, the land grants them power and offers them aid. You may do something similar,
feeding the land with your Blood and being sustained in turn. Once per chronicle, you may consecrate the ground
around your resting place with one Rouse Check’s worth of Vitae. For the remainder of this chronicle, roll 2 die when
rolling for a Hunger Rouse Check when waking from daysleep, and pick the highest score. In addition, Disciplines
used in this consecrated place are bolstered, adding 1 dice to all Discipline rolls in this area.
