Environmental concerns are described as the negative consequences of human activity on the Earth and its

natural systems. While climate change can occur due to natural processes as well, human conduct has resulted in
a rise in greenhouse gas emissions. While climate change is a hot topic at the moment, it has been happening
since the Industrial Revolution.
Climate change affects everyone, as seen by temperature fluctuations and a rise in the frequency and intensity of
natural disasters. It also contributes to larger issues such as increasing sea levels and biodiversity loss in our
food chains. Additionally, adverse consequences are likely to disproportionately afflict the most vulnerable.
Pollution and its impact on public health are another source of worry. According to research, black carbon
makes harmful bacteria more resistant to drugs and makes them more difficult to kill. Additionally, black carbon
is associated with an increased risk of heart attacks, strokes, and potentially lung cancer.
The massive amount of untested chemicals released into the air and contained in our foods and home objects
jeopardize public health and wellbeing. Lead, methylmercury, and polychlorinated biphenyls were detected in
traces in almost 89 percent of children in one research. Children require a safe and healthy start in life as the
future of society.

Biodiversity encompasses all forms of life on Earth, from humans to bacteria, and is required for ecosystems
and society to thrive. Wildlife extinction impairs ecosystems' ability to supply the natural services and resources
on which humans rely.

Human interferences such as deforestation and agriculture have affected the Earth's ecosystems in recent years.
The number of endangered species and falling populations is increasing, perhaps resulting in extinction.
According to the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment, while extinction is a natural process, it has accelerated
100 times in the last century due to human influence. Disruptions to biodiversity would have a detrimental effect
on not just the environment, but also on human health and well-being. We jeopardize our food and energy
security, our access to safe drinking water and resources, and make ourselves more susceptible to catastrophic
calamities.
Biodiversity is critical to the functioning of the environment and to the natural resources on which humans rely.
Mitigating human contribution to species loss and investing in biodiversity are critical if we are to live in a
healthy planet and have a healthy life.
