COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This three-unit subject provides the students professional rules and


guidelines that deal with the duties of a lawyer to the society, the courts,
the bar and his clients. It also deals with the matters of admission,
suspension, disbarment and reinstatement of lawyers and their regulation
and supervision.

COURSE GOALS: Expected College of Law Graduate Attributes (“ELGAs”)

(A) Know and understand the laws; (B) Memorize provisions; (C) Develop: (i)
critical and analytical thinking; (ii) proficiency in written and oral
communication; and (iii) logical reasoning and sound judgment; and (D)
Exercise proper professional and ethical responsibilities
