Dear Church Family,

Another year is quickly passing. School has started and along with it, football
season. Before you can bat an eye, we will be into the holidays. It is unreal
another year will be quickly coming to an end.
We talk frequently about “connecting to God and connecting to others.”
Where do we learn connection techniques? The church was designed to be a
laboratory for love. That’s why we encourage everybody to be involved in a
small group. You can’t really love a large group.
We call our Sunday School, LIFE Groups. Some churches are not
emphasizing small groups much anymore. They feel like they are irrelevant. I
believe the small Bible study groups are relevant for today, when its purpose
is connected to appropriate practices. The purpose is to enable the church to
strategically embrace and engage the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20),
which is why the church exists. The problem is that we lose our focus.

A Life Group class that connects will see at least three results:

1. The lost will be reached. Inside this issue:

2. Lives will be changed.
3. Leaders will be sent out to do missions and ministry.

Vulnerable children and families are in need of help, now more than ever before. Help us eliminate this
diaper deficiency by meeting our goal to collect 1,000,000 diapers for foster families, pregnancy care
centers, single moms and struggling families within our community. Our greatest need is diaper sizes 3,
4, 5, 6 & pull-ups. Diapers may be dropped off at the office or church foyer.

Thank you for joining us in making an impact in the lives of children and families in need. Together, we
will bring in more diapers than ever to help children.

• Year offering started: In 1895 God is doing amazing things in our midst through Send Network
Florida. This past year God provided for 74 churches to begin in our state. The Send Network Florida
partnership with the North American Mission Board allows for the entire state of Florida to be
included as a part of the Send Network church planting emphasis. Any church in Florida has access
to the resources of the Florida Baptist Convention and the North American Mission Board (50/50
support partnership) for church planting. Why give? Because 75% of Florida’s 21.8 million
population—15.8 million, do not have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. As you give
generously to the Maguire State Mission Offering, you and your church are supporting church
