PROPOSAL

This project proposal which entitled “SAG” – Segregate and Go. Segregation is
important because this will help to recycle which this can be used again in another way
which it can help our environment to be greener.

I. OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

 The general purpose of this project is to improve the environment of the locality.
Toward this end, the following objectives are set.

 To maintain the cleanliness of the community/barangay

 To practice the segregation of the non-biodegradable to the biodegradable
garbage
 To imbibe the importance of cleanliness among the participants.

II. Execution Plan

a. Target Audience/Community

The target community of this project is the Murallon, Boac, Marinduque which there
are a lot of vendors which leads to a lot of disposal. Which the consumers buy a
different kind of varieties and throw them everywhere.

III. Budgetary Requirements

There is no need to buy trash bins. As an individual, the barangay official will make a
contest of the best in making a trash bin using recycle materials which it can lessen
and make our environment be clean.

Recycled Materials Quantity

Plastic Bottles 50 kg
Straws 50 kg
Boxes 30 kg
Others 20 kg

As the table above shows that these recycled materials will be used in the
contest which lead by the barangay officials. Not only the officials will have a benefit on
it but especially the local people of that community so that they will be aware and avoid
throwing trashes like in creeks, streets, canals and especially they even help the street
sweepers.

IV. Programs
 1) Lecture-Seminar Program
 A Lecture-Seminar Program would also be implemented. This program
is mainlyfor children. In this lecture-seminar the children will be thought
mainly of how to recycleand how to become an earth friendly citizen.
The first part of the lecture would be waste management skills. Video
clips were to be shown.
2) Tree Planting Program
 Tree planting program is a program that advocates nature
appreciation. In this program planting seedlings would be done to
increase the number of trees in the locality. The seedlings to be used
were provided by the barangay. A mahogany seed would be planted,
since it less expensive and easy to cultivate. As said in the gathered
information, trees are beneficial for us since it does not only prevent
floods and landslides but also help prevents the worsening results of
Global Warming. This program would be implemented in the barangay
at the site that the barangay officials would permit the students to the
planting.
V. Evaluation Plan

As what is written in the objective, people must maintain the cleanliness of the
community which the program and contest can be a great idea for the cleanliness
especially they must know how to segregate and to recycle materials which they will not
buy things. As a student I want to make this proposal to make your community to be a
better, greater and especially a beautiful community not only for the local people of
Murallon especially to all of the Marinduquenos.
