today I will be presenting my speech. I made a tribute speech

birthday is the 21st of November from the year 1998.
- General details:
-Opinion:
3. Body of the speech: He lived a long 20-year life and in
supposed cat years that’s 101 cat years. Well he didn’t pass
out we put him to sleep to remove his pain, he was way too old
for him to handle himself. Well let me tell you a little bit about
him. He was a black and fluffy cat who always loved to play a
lot. His name is Pupiri or as we called him Pipi. We called him
Pipi because when we peated him with a brush he would make
a sound like the word Pipi, not the action of peeing. He was a
male cat and had beautiful yellow eyes. He lived around me for
as long as I can remember and he was sometimes the reason I
would go places, because he'll be there.
Something different from him is that he got a long with
some dogs throughout his life. I also had a dog named Lucy and
she died of cancer when she was just 3 years old. He was a dog
but at the same time Pupiri’s best friend forever and ever. Pupiri
was actually the reason my uncle and aunt didn’t have a child.
They looked to Pupiri like his son, and I looked at him as a
cousin or even my little brother. He always ate in a chair besides
me that was always empty, it soon became his seat in the table of
the house of my aunt and uncle. The last years of his life he lived
them with my great grandmother mamita. He was a healthy cat
but couldn’t handle himself anymore.
- Steps/reasons:
-Examples/demonstrations:
4. Conclusion of your speech: I miss him much. I miss his
company in early mornings and sometimes when we go to eat in
the table. He was the best pet I will ever have and he will always
have a especial place inside of my heart. Rest in piece Pupiri.

PUBLIC SPEAKING PROJECT REFLECTION: Use the following guiding
questions to write a 250 words composition reflecting on your
speech performance

What can you do better in the future when speaking formally for an audience?
What didn’t go according to plan?
What would you differently in the future?
How did you feel after performing your speech?
Were you supportive when others presented?
What have you learned?
What did you like from this project?

I think that my speech was average, it wasn’t the best or it didn’t stand out. I was
emotional during the whole speech because I was tributing my cat that passed away. I
started stuttering in a moment because of trying to hold the emotions. After performing it
I realized I let my emotions go away and that was something not that good. I liked that I
was able to share with everyone about my cat and how wonderful he was. When others
presented, I was being silent and aware of every detail of their speech because we
needed to evaluate some criteria. I was muted and with my camera on listening very
carefully. And the thing that I liked the most was when the other people put effort and
you realize it when they present it.

For the future I will control myself with my emotions and I will learn my speech better, so
I don’t stud in any part of the speech. Also, I think that in the first time I didn’t learn the
speech at a perfect grade, because I wasn’t fluent enough. I will learn it word by word
for the next time so I can give the best presentation possible. From this I learned that
public speaking is kind of easy, but it also requires a good organization and a very good
dedication on getting to learn your speech and use props. In my case, I didn’t use
props, that was an error. Next time I'm doing it I will use props for the speech.
